Camping World - Over priced

Update by user Sep 28, 2021

I contacted an independent RV repair, he said it is normal for bigger places to charge separately for diagnosing and installing. He does not charge separately for diagnosing and installing. He said independent repair companies don't charge to diagnose problems.

The refrigerator in our travel trailer was not working correctly while using propane gas. We stopped at Camping World in Escanaba, MI. Camping World charged $398.87 to replace a $74.99 orifice. Break down of bill: $74.99 Orifice, $268.00 Labor (30 minutes), $38.28 shop supplies, taxes $7.40.

User's recommendation: Do Not rely on Camping World for repairs or for purchasing parts. I called an independent RV repair shop. He looked at my repair bill and said he would have repaired it for $150 to $200.
