Courier attempted delivery without texting recipient first. Recipient checked lazada in the after lunch to see order status and saw it is still at the sorting facility so she went out for errands.

While she is outside, courier called to inform her he is already at the gate of the house for the delivery. Recipient said she did not expect it because lazada app said order is still at the sorting facility. Courier informed her that for 2nd wave deliveries, they do not notify the recipients. Since its a COD transaction and the recipient is not at home, she asked to reschedule the delivery but the courier said there is no guarantee of a reschedule.

The courier suggested to send payment via gcash. The recipient agreed and sent the courier the payment thru the number the courier texted. The recipient immediately sent the payment thru gcash. The courier called the recipient to inform her that he made a mistake and gave the wrong number.

The number he gave is 0927191****. Apparently the correct number is 0927191****. Courier asked the recipient if there is a way to correct it. But gcash does not have that option.

He called the wrong number to have the money returned to the recipient. But the owner of the wrong number does not have gcash. It is clearly the mistake of the courier but he does not want to be accountable for it and he even tried to persuade the recipient to send another payment via gcash this time to the correct number.

Recipient did not allow it because that means shell be paying twice. Courier did not deliver the item and tagged the order status as refused delivery even if it is clear the recipient did not refuse the delivery and it is the couriers fault for the wrong info given to the recipient
