I receive up to 18 emails each day from Lowe's, which purports to offer me free products in return for my completing surveys. The products require only that I pay S & H costs, but there is nothing in which I am interested.

I have tried to "unsubscribe" to the emails, but it does not work. In addition, I have placed "blocks" on its emails, but they continue to arrive. I have called Lowe's toll-free number to cancel my credit card with the company, but the rep has indicated that my account is not "authenticated." I asked the rep whether she is aware of the ludicrous emails being sent; "No," she said. I am finished with Lowe's, and I refuse to shop there further.

The source of the credit card was a 10% discount on a purchase I made nearly a year ago. It will be the last one I ever make.
