Verizon - Bill almost 60 days after bill paid in full and discontinued service

Got a bill for the month of September when I discontinued service at the end of July and paid bill in full the day of. I have tried to talk to a representative with Verizon and all you get is put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and then the person can't help you because you are not a Verizon customer so they want you to log in and start an account which is crap. All I wanted to know is why I was sent a bill for a service that was canceled close to 2 months ago. This is exactly why I changed carriers they don't care.

User's recommendation: Don't go with Verizon.
