Dropped $1,200 on TWO handguns on June 2nd. (Overpriced compared to their competitors) Went back in the store the next day for a holster and while I was there, I asked about a range membership. They told me all the benefits and one of them is you get $25 off the...

American All Door And Window - American All Door in Atlanta

Bought a Garage Door opener from Home Depot. They sent American All Door to install it. The technician was rude and condescending. He directly called me a liar when I told him the sensor that detects the up/down status of the door came in the box. Had to call them back a week later because the door stopped half way down. He constantly complained about Ryobi and said we shouldn’t have bought it. Terrible customer service AVOID AMERICAN ALL DOOR !’

Over the Top Roofers , ORLANDO FL - definitely bottom of the barrel

I did business with this clown six years ago when he put a new roof on my house. Fast forward three years and I needed a new roof on one of my rental properties. Called this guys (Jim Braddy, owner) first and he gave me a quote. His quote was $1000 higher than the other two I got so I went with another company. He got pissed. I told him it was not personal but $1000 to me was a lot of money . He would not move on the price. So.....fast forward two years later (last week) and I needed 6 shingles repaired on the same rental house, from the recent hurricane. It had ripped my satellite dish off and left 4 holes. I got a quote from the people who did the roof and wanted a second quote so I called Jim's office. The receptionist was very nice and asked me to send pictures and the address which I did. I got a voice mail from Jim a few days later saying he would be stopping by the rental house to take a look and give me an estimate. I got a voice mail from him a few days later (apparently while he was onsite at my property) stating that after he got all the way out there, he remembered me and how I didn't go with him on the new roof and that he does not want to "do business with me" ......business must be pretty *** good if you can be that petty and juvenile and turn down business. Very unprofessional and childish. I will NEVER do business with him again on any of my rental properties and I suggest you steer clear of OVER THE TOP ROOFERS in Orlando FL.

One Hour Heating And Air Conditioning - One Hour A/C my @!#

"One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning - East Orlando has been serving the Lakeland & Orlando area for many years. We promise prompt and professional service to all of our customers. “Always on time, or you don’t pay a dime.” ™ We look forward to solving all your heating and air conditioning repair, installation and service needs. Call us now to schedule an appointment." This is taken directly from their website. I called them the morning of JULY 21st around 10am for service on the A/C at my condo in zip code 32828 (East Orlando.) The dispatcher took all of my information and then he "verified" that they service my area" and informed me that i would "see a technician sometime today" Four hours went by so I called , after sitting in a 84 degree house with screaming children. The dispatcher told me to hold on a minute and then came back on the line and said that another dispatcher would be calling me with the estimated time of arrival. Five minutes later, a "supervisor" called me to apologize and say that they do not even service my area!!! I was livid. They offered no excuse except that the employee was "new" and didnt know. IF I had not called in to inquire, they would have never even called me back. Terrible business practice. What a way to run a railroad eh? If Mr. Scott Vigue (the owner) treats his other business (Ben Franklin plubming in Lakeland) customers this way I doubt he will be in business long. This is an outrage. Will never do business with them nor reccommend them and am going to report them to the better business bureau. David Chase Orlando, FL

AllAround Pro Services - All-Around Pro Services, Kissimmee Florida - Rip Off!
I found them on the real yellow pages (a "professional handyman and cleaning service") so I thought they were legit. I hired this company (man and his wife in a trashed-out mini-van that reeked of urine and animal *** and had spray painted, no I'm not kidding, all over it 'rabbits', 'chickens' - this should have been my first clue but hey, they were already at the house at work when I got there) to clean my rental house and get it ready to rent. I discovered that her husband 'said' he does tile work and he quoted me a ridiculously low price to re-tile the master bathroom and guest showers. I reluctantly agreed and bought the materials. The two showers had to be completely re-grouted. There were cracks all throughout it and the tile cuts looked like they were done by a child with a rusty saw. Unbelievable. I actually felt sorry for them because they had 5 kids. I even paid them extra to finish the job BEFORE I went out and inspected it. That one is on me. The house was left a complete mess with tile dust all over the floor (I had to pay another $50 to get someone to clean it up) I left a PayPal dispute but they ignored it. All I was asking for was the $80 back for the 'cleaning' they said they were supposed to do. These low-rent #$% must have needed the money more than me. STAY CLEAR OF THEM!

Microtel Inn at Bryson City, NC - DO NOT STAY THERE

This is my first stay at a Microtel and it will be our LAST at any Wyndham hotel. I travel on business about 5 days a month. This month I combined business with pleasure for a rafting trip at Bryson City, NC. I booked my GOVT rate room that morning via phone. I arrived just to find that the manager would not honor my US Navy Reserve ID. She said it was only for ACTIVE DUTY!. Their website does not say anything about that. I served my country proudly too and this is totally unacceptable. Her excuse was "well, we normally dont even honor GOVT rates on the weekend and we made an exception for you but now that we see you are not ACTIVE DUTY, we will not honor it" To make matters worse, they charged me an extra $20 for my small pet. I then informed the front desk that I needed a late checkout because my rafting trip was at 10am the next day and I needed someplace to leave my dog and luggage. I even offered to pay a "fee for late checkout". She refused. She said that she could do it but it would throw her housekeeping schedule off. Customer service of the worst order. I now have to cancel my non-refundable raft trip. (I explained this to her but she simply did not care) I will be telling all of my Traveling business associates to avoid Microtel and Wyndham, and especially the Bryson City one. Rest assured, I am not a low-income traveler. We travel frequently for pleasure as well and Microtel will never get another penny of our money at any Wyndham. The night manager at this property is a beaurocrat, not a customer service professional. All she had to do is first, honor my NAVY RESERVE ID and second, have her maid clean our room last as we would be back from our trip by 12:30pm. It is absurd for her to say that 90 minutes would bring the entire organization to its knees!

Resolved: Window World Poor Installation and Customer Service

Orlando, FL. - Window World - I had 18 windows replaced throughout the house. It took 4 weeks but they finally showed up with a crew that looked like they just came from standing around a burning trash can on the corner lot. They were hurried, sloppy and left a complete mess and just left. They also missed several places where caulk was needed. When they removed the windows in the master bathroom, they got the black "glazing" material all over the window jambs and the blinds (ruined them). After several calls/emails, the owner finally emailed me back with "sorry this happened, it must be a case of 'Friday-itis'??? . He said they would get someone out on Monday to clean up the mess, as if we were going to sit around in filth all weekend. We cleaned it up ourself. It was like pulling teeth to get him to give us a $100 credit. He has yet to replace the ruined blinds. This was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. No customer service ! I took pictures and videos of everything I claimed here.

Had an issue with one of the windows they installed - after 4 years. The frame apparently had a hairline crack that let water in and ruined the drywall and baseboard inside my den.

The not only replaced it but paid for my contractor to replace the drywall and baseboard. I was impressed.

It did take several follow up calls to remind them and about 3 weeks but, they took care of it. Wanted to be fair.

I also will not recommend this company to anyone.I replaced the windows in my bedsrooms and bathrooms with the low-e,argon gas double hung windows that were supposed to be energy efficient and cut down on outside noise...what a joke!there is absolutely NO diference in my home..no reduction of outside noise and the bedrooms and bathrooms are just as cold and drafty as they were with the old windows.don't waste your money on these windows.also, the woman that answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional and will literally laugh at you if you complain about your new windows.(mine failed inspection due to inadequate caulking on one of them by the way).she called me a liar when i told her there was no difference with these windows versus my old ones!i asked for the manager to call me back...never did!she probably didn't even give him the message.

there windows look great installers suck and are sloppy

#270149

What I don't like is their dishonest market practices. They wasted my time with a $189 window claim and thought I was *** enough to believe I should pay more because I have a block house. I heard they are being sued for this.

@Tom

The man in the office Dennis is a complete joke and should not be a manager he yells at people on the phone and has a really bad attitude I don't know how this guy has his job I will call the Better Business Bureau to complain about him

#211839

Let me get this straight, there was a little grease on a blind cord and customer started this brain damage? OMG! This customer is mental.

#181996

I see a lot of negative feedback on this window company and was truly hoping to buy theirwindows for our new construction home but after reading several of the "BAD FEEDBACK" it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can't stand when a company advertises a price and then does the bait and switch, so it looks like i will be buying the Milgard windows...

Your company is a joke!

#154276

sounds like they did all they could to make the customer happy.

This installation could obviously have been handled better. We did fail to double check the entire house before we left and make sure we left no debris behind. We are not perfect all the time and we have appologized more times than we can count. We credited Mr. Chase $100 for cleaning and inconvenience the evening of the installation and as soon as we learned of the grease on the blind cord the service tech was dispatched to clean it. When it was learned that it could not be cleaned sufficiently, we sent him a check to replace it.Here's the time line:

Friday 5/14/10 3pm Installation done, debris left behind.

Friday 5/14/10 4pm Emails/Phone calls from client about debris,Response= apologies from Office staff, phone call from installer, offers from both to come out Saturday morning to clean up.

Friday 5/14/10 5pm Email from Window World manager (at the time in an EPA class)to get specifics from client to take care of problem.

Friday 5/14/10 7:30pm Manager contacts client via cell phone to discuss the matter personally, credit for $100 is issued.

Saturday 5/15/10 11am Client emails manager satisfied with resolution

Friday 5/21/10 Client emails office having discovered smear on blind cord

Friday 5/28/10 Schedual Friday appointment per client for service tech to attempt cleaning of blind cord, unsuccessful

Friday 5/28/10 6:22pm Manager emails client concerning blinds, agrees to replace entirely

Tuesday 6/1/10 Window World check is issued for $75.00

These are the events that took place. We take alot of pride in the customer service aspect of Window World and have thousands of satisfied customers because we know we rely on the valuable opinions of our clients and their overall satisfaction for our next phone call.

Thank you
