American Auto Shield - Dissatisfied

Update by user Aug 14, 2021

I discontinued my service contract with them.

Original review posted by user Jul 12, 2021
First of all, I couldn't find any repair shop that wanted to accept my plan. Secondly, when I did find one, who was referred, said they would not work with them again. Third, initially, they tried to deny the claim by getting the mechanic to say something else was causing my AC not to work. Fourth, they told the repair shop that I would have to pay the difference in the charge if the shop didn't accept their price. Fifth they sent a rebuilt compressor that the shop could not guarantee. DddDDisgusting

User's recommendation: Do not buy. Their service does not match their advertising. The claims company is a separate operation and are disgusting to work with.
