Amazon - Faulty obsolete cell phone products

I bought 2 different Samsung S20 FE phones thru Amazon. The third party seller was NGP Store USA.

The first phone was supposed to be 5G compatible and work with ATT in the USA.

I later found out after I received the phone that it operated on the 2G network for the base communication and would connect only to the 3G+ network. While working with ATT, I was told that the 2G and 3G networks are to be taken down in Feb 2022 and this phone would be obsolete. IT was also determined the model which I bought was not the model listed on the Amazon website. Why would Amazon allow a seller to sell this product in the USA?

After a bunch of back and forth, I was able to return the phone for a refund.

NGP Store USA company sold me another phone which was advertised to be a 5G compatible phone. I confirmed with ATT and Samsung the model number was a 4G/5G phone only. The issue is the phone which I recieved operates on the 3G network and will be obsolete in Feb 2022. I was told this information by ATT who is my service provider.

I was having connection issues during their 30 day warranty period for a new in the box phone. However, I was working with ATT to determine if the issue was with the Austin network. After going thru a couple of different technicians, it was determined the Samsung S20 FE phone could not be configured like a new in the box ATT Samsung S20 FE phone. The warranty period had expired.

Amazon who represents NGP would not give me a refund nor would NGP. NGP in fact accused me of fraud for returning the phone. Per the model number and specs on Amazon website, this phone should operate on 5G network and be compatible with ATT service. ATT warranty services cannot change the software setting on the phone so it is not compatible with ATT.

Since the phone operates on the 3G network it is obsolete in Feb 2022 when the 3G network in the USA is taken down. ATT will give me $80 5g compatible flip phone for this NGP store USA phone which I paid over $500 for.
