Verizon - They claim it's 24 hours and they're closed

Nothing gets resolved by these people. I'm leaving Verizon and my plan ends tomorrow. All I want is to change my plan to something very basic so I can get through until my new SIM cards arrived from a company that gives a damn and doesn't lie.

User's recommendation: Don't go with verizon.
