The Washington Post - Subscription issues

We were charged $100 for subscription. My husband said he cancelled the subscription about three months ago. We are in our 80's and can't afford the renewal. The customer service girl said she would sent an email concerning the refund but it never came. My husband would like the refund info in writing.
