Verified ReviewerStouffers - To complain
The chicken Fettuccine alfredo has been having to much oil in them. The last 2 I ate was swimming in oil.
Preferred solution: nothing really. Just to correct the problem
User's recommendation: report what you find to the company

Over the decades I have narrowed my Stouffer's purchases to only about two or three selections, which seemed to hold up better against freezer burn or oxidation or have better consistency; those are the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo (usually, small size) and the Lasagna with Meat Sauce (large size). I got tired of the inconsistency in the thickness of the sauce of the large size Macaroni and Cheese a while ago, and especially after they stopped using egg noodles decades ago and it didn't have the rich flavor it used to.
However in the last few months, the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo has alternately had a separated, watery sauce and old tasting chicken, or more recently, too thick of a sauce, with no flavor to the whole dinner and seemingly less chicken (especially less chicken, proportionally, in the large size). I have wasted a lot of money in spite of them sending me some coupons, because it's too much trouble to return them to the supermarket all the time. As far as the lasagna, it lately has less flavor, is dryer, and has a strange unpleasant sour smell when it's being heated up in the microwave. Also the changed microwave heating instructions cause it to be overcooked.
Even the previous instructions, which included 50% power for the second half of the cooking, tended to cause burnt corners, although most of it was okay. And I'm only using a 1000 watt microwave, not an 1100 watt one. When the supermarket was recently out of the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, I tried the Stouffer's Chicken and Mushroom Marsala. It is okay, something to eat, but not great tasting or satisfied, but it seems to have more chicken, in different shaped larger pieces, than the Fettuccine Alfredo, although the meat is quite dry.
I won't continue to buy that variety. In fact, I think I'm going to discontinue buying any Stouffer's products because the quality seems to have gone downhill, even though, to their credit, they still use real pieces of chicken, as opposed to the formed and pressed chicken most of the other frozen dinner companies use.
I've noticed a change in quality also but thought it was just me. I only buy like 3 different entrees.
The rest taste terrible to me. At least the oil isn't floating in the chicken alfredo.
