LG Corporation - Didn’t uphold advertised warranty period

Nothing more from LG. I assume that they just don't care about customer service.

I purchased an LG refrigerator in July 2020. There were ads to register any new LG appliance using the app and they would extend your 12 month warranty to 24 months. I registered through the app, but didnt hear anything. When I check with customer service, they said my appliance was registered but I didnt respond to an email so I didnt get the extended warranty. I check emails and junk folder; never received any emails. They said the promotion was over so I am out of luck.

User's recommendation: Don’t buy thinking LG will fulfill an advertised promo.

I sent a box of 18 items. All in great condition and several never worn. Most were name brand like Cabi, Polo, Fabletics, etc. I kept receiving emails saying processing of my box was taking longer than expected. After two months, I received an email saying zero of my items were selected. Unfortunately, I chose to let them dispose of any unselected items not expecting there to be many. As a result, they got 18 great items and I got nothing, not even an explanation of what was wrong with my items. They are thieves and there is no reachable customer service.

User's recommendation: Do not send items to Thredup.
