Rci Cruise And Resort Vacations - Cancelled my trip!!!!

I bought a certificate to travel to Costa Rica from RCI and booked through the 800 number and then booked my airfare ($1050). Kept calling them to get the hotel room confirmation and paid the "resort fee" that was asked $198.00. Called back many times and they said they would let me know. Called a couple of days ago and they said I owed $120.00 more for the resort fees. WHAT!!!!! They were checking on this and when I called today the resort cancelled my trip for non-payment of resort fees that I knew nothing about. I am getting an attorney!!! I have airfare tickets that are no longer valid. I am looking to get an attorney and sue them.

Travelsmart Vip Club - Misrepresented the membership

We joined over 4 years ago and realized with our last trip to Jamaica we would have to "PAY" for the food and drink after paying thousands to join. We paid and had the worst vacation in Jamaica. Complained to the Royalton personnel and TravelSmart personnel and someone was supposed to call us to "resolve" the issue. No call!! Due to "low occupancy" in Jamaica during our "High Season" visit most of the restaurants, except for the buffet were closed. The *** hut was supposed to stay open from 12:30 - 3:00 and was shut down by 1:00-1:30. If their customer service was better it might be different but was on the phone, on hold for 20 minutes waiting to talk to someone and finally hung up.

OMG, We have been trying to make the best of a situation we could do nothing about and our visit to Jamaica was the last straw. Once you get our money you treat us like dirt.

If there is a lawsuit out there, and I will adamantly check, we will join it.

So they say they are sorry and want to help but read the reply from the resort.

What A generic, impersonal response.

I am looking for anyone that has an ongoing class action lawsuit against travelsmart.

I was just requesting a free usage week to cover the terrible experience in Jamaica but now I am going to try and get a membership refund.
