DentalWorks - Shoddy customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I showed up today at the Lexington, NC office for a cleaning appointment only to be told that my appointment had been canceled. No, I was not notified.

They claimed they tried to call, but I doubt it. I showed the person the text reminder I had received for the appointment and she said, " Oh, those are sent by corporate and we have no control over them.". She also admitted that they didn't currently have a hygienist on staff. WHY, if you were canceling ALL hygiene appts would you not STOP auto reminders.

I find this to be extremely poor business practice. I have been a DentalWorks patient in another office for many years, but will not continue due to this poor experience. I did receive a rather insincere "sorry for the inconvenince".

I was not allowed to talk to the office manager even though I asked. Needless to say, I am looking for another dental office with some professionalism.
