Resolved: PayPal - Pissed off and getting nowhere
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After many calls and having to get the proof that this was in fact a scam and the tracking number they sent was not the gazebo that i purchased.
Finally after months of fighting with Pay Pal they seen that in fact the seller was a scam. Please if you have purchased anything from facebook. Gazebo, outdoor furniture a fire pit.
Anything from Home and now they have changed the business page name IT IS A SCAM . Please look closer to the website and you will see that it is a fake one..
Well I am happy to say i finally got my money back. I had to call numerous times and the customer service with pay pal is horrendous, Long wait times and extremely rude reps.
I ended up demanding to speak to a supervisor after 20 minutes of the rep being rude and telling me sorry we already told you that we have sided with the seller and i told her and i am telling you that you will not take what is rightfully mine and not do your job and investigate . She made me sit on hold for 15 more mins, lol . And i stayed on hold and when the supervisor came on the phone she already had attitude and i told her you can stop right there . If you were getting scammed wouldn’t you want someone to investigate and look into the information I HAD TO SEND YOU TO GET MY MONEY BACK?
I did all the leg work and now tell me has anyone actually looked at the information sent and she said she would and i could hear the gasp when she opened the tracking number and actually looked and seen the picture of a box that was delivered and weighed .5lbs.. and realized that no gazebo would fit in that box :) and she said I am so sorry and i have refunded your money. And the whole attitude had changed. People need to learn to be kind to listen.
I am not going to request my money back unless a) You scammed me B) the product I purchased isn’t what was listed doesn’t fit etc. And now for facebook . I am still trying to figure out how Facebook allows this. and how they are no contact numbers to reach any one.
I think facebook needs to be called out. thank You so much to the amazing people at pissed consumer, I am glad that this is available for people to safely and freely tell their stories and allow others from being screwed too.. They have from the beginning been polite, helpful and from the interview process and i was a nervous wreck lol.. I hate public speaking and I felt comfortable telling my story.
Please if you are a victim of any scam etc. Reach out to these guys and let them spread the word. It takes us speaking up to get what is rightfully ours back.
And unfortunately the only one that will look out for you is YOU and PISSED CONSUMER. And will be reaching out to them this week with a bigger issue that I am hoping they will take on with me :)
