Woodforest National Bank - Terrible customer service skills

I opened a new account and deposited cash money and a cashier's check. They held my cashier's check money for more than 9 days before I can access it.

I am a businessman. I cannot do business with a bank that will hold my money for a week. The branch manager named Courtney Mitchell told me that the hold on my check will be released today 03/29/21. Although I was patient to wait until 03/29/21.

When I got there, this branch manager is telling me rudely that the bank will hold my check for one more day.

This branch manager at Walmart location on 5336 Golden Triangle Blvd, Fort Worth has the poorest communication skills that I have ever seen in a branch manager. She is rude and doesn't know how to de-escalate the situation.

She does know how to listen to what the issue is and the person's concerns. Then offer reflective comments to show that she has heard what my concerns are.

Preferred solution: Apologize for lies. Refund my $32 charged for overdraft while $5000 of my money is on hold.

User's recommendation: Be truthful. No lies. Listen to customers concerns and being respectful.

A week later, I went the another branch in Wal Mart location on Rufe Snow and Bursey Rd. I had a completely different experience.

The wood Forest branch manager at this location. was very polite, respectful, and a good listener.

She was professional and made my experience plausible. She returned my $32.
