Kolbe Windows And Doors - Kolbe k-kron windows rotting

In 1999 i purchased over 50 windows for my home. Since that time I've had the glass spontaneously break. The kolbe repair technician told me there was a problem with the argon gas (which I paid extra for) and it cause glass breakage. The solution was drill tiny holes in the glass to release the gas and expoxy it over. Then the rotting began. Less than 10 years after the installation the sill on two windows started to rot I have had to remove the rotted wood and use an epoxy to repair the rot. The paint the windows (cant get a match to the k-kron finish to save my life). And now more than half the windows have rotted in the same fashion. The k-kron finish is intact but the wood rots underneath it. I have a color that is now discontinued and this summer replaced one window for $1000.00. Kolbe wont even answer my correspondence. I have read numerous complaints about the same problem with many of their customers with these windows. Kolbe produced a defective product and the consumer has had to pay for it. The ironic part was the dealer suggested I replace all the windows with another kolbe product! Not happening!!

Rohl - Nicolazzi faucet and sprayer junk

I purchased this faucet 4 years ago. 11 months after the purchase the finish on the faucet started to darken. I live with just my husband and take great care of my home. I had replaced a 14 year old faucet and though I was buying quality. Rohl sent a new faucet and luckily I am handy enough to install it myself. Here we are three years later. The finish on the new one is just as lousy and the sprayer is impossible to use due to the stiffness of the button. I've taken it apart numerous times and see nothing that would prevent it from functioning. I think it is just a terrible design. When I am able to get the sprayer to work, it takes 5-10 seconds to turn off once I release the button. The handle on the faucet is either too tight to turn on or, if i loosen it to be able to trun it on, the base spins as I turn it hot to cold. This is a terrible product. I have a nicer functioning Delta faucet in my laundry room and I spent about $650.00 less on that! Its frustrating to know that I have spend a ton of money again to replace this junk.
