Bad Food Martins Downtown Roanoke VA

Martins Downtown Roanoke (Located In Roanoke VA) served me the worst meal I have ever had. The food their was like a child nuked it and served it half hot and half cold. Martin in Roanoke is not one of the places I would recommend. I am starting to review places to eat in Roanoke VA and decided this place was bad enough to list them here. Not only was teh food bad, there was a manger (Male) that was rude and he said he owned the place and would not credit me back or anything because the food had been eaten! I took 2 bites! I would naturally have to taste the food to know if It was bad, right?! The owner of martins name is Jason Martin I think, he should consider firing his friend (manager) that chased off his potential repeat clients/ customers. Go to Blue 5 if you want a GREAT meal downtown they are way better in my opinion.

Wow! I have been eating and drinking at Martin's Downtown Bar and Grill since its doors opened.

The food is delicious and drinks are cold. I don't recall any problems. However I have an issue with an attack on Martins staff(DMOCK). The ENTIRE staff has always been friendly.

If you have a bad experience and you brought this to their attention, I have 100% confidence the anyone on staff would correct any issue. I have no affilation with Martin's at all. I am a customer just like you except I love to have a good time throwing it down at Martin's! I recommend giving Martin's another chance, in fact go to the corner table(301) that is where I'm posted up whenever I go.

You might even get a Cali-bomb!

Life is too short to be upset... Enjoy yourself!!!

I decided to comment on this as I am the manager that this post would be referring to. I believe there to be multiple false statements in it.

One, I love the industry I'm in and have made a living for 14 years in it without one complaint and only had repeat customers at all 7 restaurants I've worked in and 3 that I've managed. If this situation happened then it was never brought to my attention by the server working and was mishandled from there. I belive it not to have happened as I would of comped thier food, cooked them something else, bought them a round of drink and offered free cover to our next show, thats what we do if something happens like this. If bad food goes out, we fix it, period.

I would never lie about my job nor make someone pay for bad food, I believe this a personal issue with someone who has never spoken with me. When you work in a fast paced industry constantly being judged by people who might not have the right then you are bound to have this sort of thing happen, especially by someone who has decided on thier own to review restaurants, and might not have the training to do so.

Over 4 years we have only gotten busier and the food better and we have the awards to prove it. 1 person unhappy is too many by our standards but I believe this instance to be inaccurate.
