Apple - Horrible experience iPhone 12 promax

Just purchased a 12 promax iphone from apple just over a month ago. Apples price was over 1700 dollars.

The phone has issues with the screen going black and you cant wake it up. Causes major functionality problems.

Apple tech support said they were having lots of issues with this and their solution does not fix the issue. Apple will not refund my money as Ive had it for over 14days. Needless to say that I have been trying to get the phone corrected with there support teams.

Since day one.

Beware of apple I dont know a single other company that takes such a hard line against customers. I have gone to the better business bureau and certainly am looking at my legal options under the lemon law its certainly a lemon and apple just doesnt care two supervisors and the apple store told me today they would not offer a refund.

Apples support says oh go to an apple store and they will look at it, my issue is its a common problem for this phone and they are unwilling to do the right thing.

I am a busy on the road sales guy I cant afford to take a day or more to get it worked on. I have already spent numerous hours with on line support, but often cant even answer the call backs at times because the screen goes black so you cant press the #1 to connect.

Apple you need to lose business over this your support is horrible.

They’re willing to fix it but you’re not willing to go to the store to let them. So it’s you not them what are you complaining about just take it to the store.

You must work for apple! I don’t have time to make an appointment, travel 30 miles and spend a day of time to get a defective phone worked on that I paid 1700 dollars for— I am a busy person.

The problem with the phone is intermittent and I have spent many hours on the phone with apple already trying to resolve the issue, to zero positive results! I’ll restate that I’m not aware of any other companies when they are aware of a issue from day one that doesn’t refund the defective product. Perhaps you would be happy to pay a premium price for a product and then have to spend numbers of hours with tech support to be advised that they are having problems with the product in question and their online reboots and solutions do not work. Then further be advised to make an appointment with apple and they will work on it.

Reviews on line document the problem and the consumer complains. Apple’s view - “you bought it and didn’t get it back to them in 14days - it’s your problem now.” In my case the phone wasn’t even unboxed for 14 days to activate and the issue was reported almost immediately with numerous technical calls. I again state be weary of doing business with apple and I will continue to advised all of my experience with them and their horrible customer service when they have marketed a product with technical issues.

I don’t make complaints lightly and rarely do so. I am a professional business person, paid the phone price in full and in my experiences have not seen other companies that treat their customers this way.

Only had it 14 days? Must be warrantied.

And never pay &1700 for a phone. My iPhone cost $399 and I.love it and when it can no longer be repaired I throw it in the wastepaper basket and buy another $399 phone? You must have time to go to the store.

Do it. Might get a new one.
