TO THE MANAGEMENT OF EACH FORD DEALER: FORD, VIN #1FTSW31P57EB21057 IN JANUARY 2007 WHY DID, LEO KAYTES, FORD of WARWICK, NEW YORK, SELL ME A "NEW" 2007, FORD, F-350 WITH A 6.0 DIESEL ENGINE, FORD MOTOR COMPANY KNEW WERE DEFECTIVE FOR YEARS. $45,000 PLUS TAX????? IF I WAS TOLD ABOUT THE KNOWN DEFECTS I WOULD NOT BUY THE TRUCK. The following is what I posted on a, PICKUP TRUCK Blog I belong to. Two years ago, May 2019, on I-70 heading back home the 6.0 DIESEL engine went. SERVICED PERFECTLY, Mileage on truck 115,600. Towed to Ford Dealer in Selina, Kansas off of I-135. Two weeks later, "a new 6.0 engine and $15,625 later. Why "DIDN'T" the HUGH Ford Dealer repair garage tell me the 6.0 engine is DEFECTIVE. If they had any brains they would have told me that and tell me to put in a new real reliable DIESEL????? FOR THE SAME COST. Now, 687 miles later on I-80 going west for a two week camping trip to Idaho the engine went again. Towed to Ford in, Brighton, Colorado. Repair mechanic in Selina had left oil on something and caused the engine to go again. *** FORD AND EVERYTHING THEY MAKE. ALL THEY DID WAS REARRANGE THE DECK CHAIRS ON THE TITANIC. COME TO FIND OUT THERE WERE LAW SUITS AGAINST FORD BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTIVE 6.0 FROM ITS BEGINNING. IF FORD HAD ANY BRAINS THEY WOULD HAVE RECALLED ALL 6.0 AND REPLACE THEM WITH A RELIABLE DIESEL. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD P.R. "NEVER BUY FORD AGAIN AND I TELL EVERYONE NOT TO BUY FORD AND MY STORY. I just posted this on a Blog I belong to. Sorry for my language but I am so pissed off by FORD. Ralphie, Thornton, Colorado MILAGE NOW 116,666. Mileage from May 22, 2019 and today February 4, 2021, less than two years 1,780 miles. I take it out for a ride once in a while to keep it running. Doris, refuses to use this truck again for any reason. It sits in our driveway with the truck camper on it, doing nothing. Insured and Registered. Doris is afraid of it breaking down again. Even on super Bowl Sunday 2021. TOMORROW. MY PROPOSAL TO, "FORD MOTOR COMPANY", THROUGH, LEO KAYTES FORD, WARWICK, N Y, LONG-McARTHUR, FORD and BRIGHTON FORD. FOR THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL 2021. I WILL TRADE IN MY 2007 FORD, KING RANCH, F-350, PLUS 10% OF THE 116,666 MILES DRIVEN OR $11,666.00 CASH TRADE IN. THIS TRUCK SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN BUILT WITH THE 6.0 DIESEL, DEFECTIVE ENGINE. FORD KNOWING 6.0'S ARE DEFECTIVE FROM DAY ONE. NO ONE WILL BUY THIS TRUCK, SO ONLY FORD MOTOR COMPANY SHOULD TAKE IT IN RETURN FOR A NEW F-350 YOUR REPLYS WILL BE APPREDIATED, THANK YOU, RALPH FREDDOLINO,,,,,11336 NEWPORT ST,,,,,THORNTON, COLORADO,,,,,80233,,,,,,,,303-993-****
