GEICO - Horrible Business Practices

I was a loyal customer. I mailed my check in December and my policy was due on 12/26. The check was withdrawn from my account on 1/12. I happen to call to get a quote on a new car and found out I was uninsured. NO call, no email, they claimed to send a letter I never got. They then told me that the check was going to be sent back and that it had been requested that morning. NO check yet. They said they would reissue my monies but due to the gap it would cost an additional $1550 for 6 months. ROBBERY AND THIEVES. I made my payments all through COVID-19. They didn't care. I URGE EVERYONE TO NOT CONSIDER USING GEICO. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRACTICES.D
