Target - Poor customer service & support for their employees

On my recent trip I waited in line for 10 minutes as the 1 cashier that was open tried to get assistance from her supervisor. After about 5 minutes they opened up another cashier who then took a woman who just walked up instead of myself or the lady behind me. These companies are pushing these self check outs..yet everyone is always complaining we don't have enough jobs.

You poor thing having to wait. Why not shop when you have more time.

If you want to stand in line for 10 minutes that is your problem. Why not use the much faster self check out?

At a lane with a cashier you are taking your product out of your cart and putting it on a conveyor.

At a self check out you take it out of your cart and pass it over a scanner on the way to a bag. You eliminate another person handling your purchases saving potential contamination, damage and time.
