Scout - Theft
Scout .com took over the North American Hunting Club as well as other associated clubs and did not continue to honor the purchases such as Life Memberships that members had made. Scout. com basically ripped everybody off. The back of the NAHC membership card reads "As a dedicated Life Member of the NAHC this cardholder , respects private property, Obeys all game laws, Abides by the rules of fair chase, Follows safe firearms handling practices, and Constantly strives for proficiency with his equipment. As a hunter I respect and comply with these intentions. It is really sad that organizations like Scout.com and it's companies do not have the same respect for it's members.

National Rifle Association Store - Fast & Honest services
Every time I order anything from the NRAstore.com the service is lightening fast. Every product is exactly as advertised. They do not sell junk. I have never been disappointed. Never. If you are looking for outdoor gear or hunting gear or shooting gear this is the place to go. Even survival gear is available. Their web site is extremely easy to navigate even for a sixty year old guy like me. Every order I have ever put in has arrived intact and earlier than expected. Prices are beyond fair. I highly, highly recommend the NRAstore.com to everybody, hunter, shooter, survivalist. Everybody. This is the online store to use.

North American Hunting Club rip off.
I purchased a life membership in 1986. In the late 90's the clubs founder sold the club to Scout. Com. They have not honored the life membership agreement. They do not respond to messages.
Pros:
- Reading the articles
- Field testing stuff magazines and adds
- Contacts with outfitters
Cons:
- Good until they disappeared
- Not being able to get to a member service rep
- Dropped all benefits without any notice to members
