Rent2OwnUSA - Fraudulent business

I'm January i noticed a charge that i have no idea who it was from. I looked them and learned they're a slimeball company. I'm not the only person this has happened too. Seems to be common for this business. In my attempts to work with them to stop this from continuing they love to say "You did this by electronics means". Neat. All that really proves is no matter the security on your electronic device a scam is still a scam. After writing this I'll give them a few days to respond. If it's not fixed ... i implore you just correct this. Cancel my account, refund the months of stolen money, never contact me again after steps 1 & 2.

In the end of December i rented a unit over the internet from my local location. Great. Everything feel apart for me the next day. Here a month later in living in a homeless shelter and have been trying to cancel my unit for the last month. We are very strongly discouraged from discussing bills over the phone since there is no privacy available. My car broke down so i have no way of getting there to cancel the only way they will accept - in person. Chats and emails are useless. All they ever conclude with is that i must go in in person. Seriously if i could i would. Since it's not an option all they then say is Oh Sorry. I'm left with no other option then calling my bank and reporting fraud. It's stupid. I can sign up on line but can't cancel on line. Avoid them like the plague!

Reliable Credit Association - Update to an earlier *** - reliable credit

After writing here and searching for their home location for three company and writing them there as well - within 2 days max (I really think it was within 1 day honestly) a different person wrote me and we exchanged info and they did it for me. That was way above and beyond what they had to do. I was in true character of this sites name. I regret that now. If your reading this I'm very sorry.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. They closed my account finally.

No refund but no future charges either. 50/50.

These thieves are insane. I do everything on my note 9 phone. So everything I do and send and see all comes from one central place - my phone. Yet when I tried to cancel on the 28th i was told I needed to call. So I tried and got the answering machine. So I left the info they said they needed. A few days later January's change rolls thru. I owe for 2 days. But we both know they won't give back any of the money or at best maybe January's $18 charge. I was able to everything from my phone to sign up - no call needed. But now to cancel I've got to get one of these idiots on the phone. So basically for two weeks I've been trying. It's $65 in total. *** it. Keep it. Clearly they're hurting for money if my pittance can't be refunded. The best part, I was born in 1971, so learning about the rampant abuses regarding SSN numbers to see this new "trend" starting with success licenses is a whole lot of red flags. I'll just report it as fraud, because it is, (what else do you call requiring a phone call butt not answering them) and request all my money back. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Public Storage - To help others from the headache

Signed up and paid on the 24th of December. Granted access on the 26th. On 28th learned it was 45 mins away from my home. Not good. Tried to cancel. 30th got email stating i must call and supply list 4 of my driver's license. Stupid policy but fine. Tried calling several times during the day. Finally got discouraged and left my info and request on answering machine. Still waiting to hear back and now they've charged for the next month. Thought customer service meant dealing with the customer. Apearantly I'm wrong.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After a few weeks i finally got a reply letting me know they were closing my account and refunding the money.

Great. Now i get to look forward at least another 4 weeks of the same automated email "your situation is under review". Boggling that a company competing with AARP is handling things like a bad magazine subscription that takes forever too reality cancel.

I'm not impressed. Sadly there is no real other option..

Been trying to get an response of any kind for a week now. There services are not a good value for what is offered. Only real way to find out is after signing up. Then you see your mistake. Avoid like the plague!

Things were handled quickly and efficiently. For a bit i was worried but since their contact things are much better
