Alfa Romeo - Extremely poor customer service.
I leased an auto from Towbin Fiat Alfa Romeo on December 19th, 2020. i was told to call my Credit Union for a payoff on my trade in and was quoted a payoff amount of $21,000. I also had a November payment due and to avoid the late charge I made an additional payment that was supposed to be credited back to my savings account once the dealer paid the car off. Salesman Jeremy knew what I had done and I gave him the paper with the written payoff amount of $21,000 and change. I came to find out a month later after several trips to the dealer asking why my trade was not paid off and I received several different answers as to why the pay off was not made and each time I explained to them that I had another car payment due for December and inquired as to where my green slip was for the lease car. This was a month after the initial visit to lease a new car. On my last visit to complain, I was told that the payoff would be over nighted to the Credit Union and they found my green slip to register my new car. The next day I checked the credit Union Savings only to find out that my November payment was not credited back to my account because the Dealer only sent in $20,000 to pay off the car. Which meant that I was out $539.00 dollars. I called and spoke to my salesman and asked him why and he told me he would look into this and told me he had my back on it. That was 10 days ago and still nothing.
