I want to add that someone's nationality or skin color has nothing to do with how they act. People choose to act the way they act because its their choice. Its illogical and racist to assume someone acts a certain way or has a certain disease just because of their nationality or skin tone. I have been judged my whole life because of my nationality and skin tone and I know its wrong and cruel.

That's what happened to me and I am being sued too. I am so upset. I have no money at all none and I am about to loose everything. I have not got money to even file bankruptcy. I wish I could sue these people. Please do not do business with these people ever. Its better to try to call creditors and see if you can work out a payment plan with them directly then to pay Freedom debt relief or really any debt settlement co. money to negotiate for us to our creditors. They are scammers and crooks trying to take advantage of us that are in bad financial situations. I don't know what to do. :(

I will write a longer review next time because I am too upset to even write this. Freedom debt messed up my finances even more then before . I signed up with them last yr and they told me that they would handle all communication with creditors and told me to stop paying the creditors and pay them in to my dedicated bank account with them and they would use that money to pay creditors and negotiate with them. I found out they did not communicate with most of my creditors when I got phone calls and letters from the 3 of my creditors suing me for not paying the debts. Freedom claimed they settled 2 debts with lending club, but one of the lending club's hired a collections agency to call me and tell me last month June 2017 that I was being sued for the full amount 8000 I owed them. I told them I thought Freedom debt let them know that I was working with them and they said no one ever contacted them. They wanted me to pay them the 8000 and I was like I do not have it so I had to make a payment plan with them I cannot afford. I also got 2 letter from Prosper stating they were suing me and when I called them they had hired a law firm to handle my collections and I told them that Freed...e to contact them and they said they never did. I had to work out payment plans with them I cannot afford. Its a very long story I will have to go into another time, but I have wasted a year from last April 2016 till now paying Freedom to settle debts thinking they were communicating with my creditors' collection agencies and come to find out I was wrong and now I have wasted all my saving paying them . I cancelled with Freedom last month after Lending club's collections people called me and Freedom tried to persuade me to stay with their program. I tried to tell them again what I told them for the last few months that why are you not communicating with my creditors and they would not answer me. I am so upset. I am about to loose my home and car I have ran out of money. Please do not use this company. Like I said I will have to go in greater detail later I am so upset I can't think I am shaking. Nothing ever goes right and its like you cannot trust anyone to help you. Freedom debt is a scam. I know I saw many good reviews on many sites, but they did not help me at all. They lied to me and now I am liable for all this debt and I have no one to help me. I don't have money for bankruptcy. I don't know what to do, but its my fault for jumping into this and trusting them. I filed a complaint with better business bureau, but I doubt I will get my money back or anything will be done. I tried many times to complain directly to Freedom and they never took my complaints seriously and some how made it my fault like I was told I did not fill out the welcome package so that's why they did not negotiate with Prosper and I did fill it out last March 2016 and sent it to this person who said he got everything, but when I tried to contact him this year to ask what happened to the welcome package he would not return my emails or calls. I was also told it was my fault they did not contact Prosper because I did not pay them enough money to start negotiating with Prosper. I am so upset. I am in tears. I should have never trusted a debt settlement co. Maybe it works for some, but it sure screwed me up even more.

I agree that its not a good dating site. I met a date scammer on their named Greg. He did not want to talk to me on the cell he only wanted to talk to me on email. I found out he was a Nigerian date scammer. The rest of the people I met was one person emailed me and asked me to *** with him and didn't even know me we had just talked a few times via the email on pof. On the match thing you can click yes maybe or no. I clicked maybe on this dude and he contacted me. He asked me to go out to a restaurant near my home and as soon as we met at the restaurant he asked me how old I was. He kept asking me how old I was the whole night. He thought I was a teenager lying about my age because I look younger then I am. I looked exactly like the pics I posted on the profile on pof, but for some reason in person to him I looked like a kid, that's what he said as he embarrassed me in front of the people sitting at the restaurant as he said this loudly and acted like he did not want to be seen with me or talk to me. He also stereotyped me and assumed I would not like certain music that I like because of my skin color. He acted like a total ***. After I met him I deleted my account. None of these d...re worth my time. Its sad because I have heard of people finding someone to marry and all I got is date scammers, jerks, racists, men wanting sex and the one dude I did marry from OK Cupid was cheating on me. So I give up. I don't think there is a way to meet someone genuine. I don't want to hear fake compliments from some Nigerian scammer or whatever country they come from telling me lies to get me to give them money. Its very sad. I cried. I hate being single, but there is no one online or offline to date. The dating sites all are about looks and if you are not hot then you might as well not join because you get ignored or you get scammers lying to you to get money. POF is free, but its not worth trying. I feel like I wasted time on there and got a lot of matches, but not really any of the matches contacted me except that *** I went to the restaurant with. The other ones blew me off.

I know this is a old post, but I wanted to comment even if you do not see this. YOU ARE NOT DUMB!!!! He "love bombed " you like they do in cults to try to get you to give him your money. That's what these *** artist do. They tell us whatever we want to hear and think we are desperate enough to believe it. This happens to anyone any age both genders. It has nothing to do with being dumb, it has something to do with being deceived. I personally have never given money, but I have had these jerks try to *** me for yrs off and on. A scammer can come in many forms in religion, dating, jobs, housing etc. It can happen to people that are intellectuals. Anyone can be scammed. I support u and pray for u. I know how you feel. I am soooo sorry this happened to u. I pray that these scammers get caught asap!!!. People in this world are so mean and insensitive if they have never been scammed by a sociopath or narcissist or psychopath or any other predator they do not get it. I get it. My family is abusive so I come from having parents that treated me like ***. I know how hard it is to resist someone telling you are beautiful and all the sweetest compliments however fake they are can feel. Everyon... loved and that's what these *** artist count on is that as humans God created us to want and give and need love and so they play on our deepest desires to the point we are willing to give them whatever they want :money or sex etc. Its so disgusting. I have no words to change your situation, but I am praying for u that God will do something to vindicate your broken heart and situation no matter how many yrs have gone by. God bless u!!!

Thank you for posting this. It really helped me. I experienced the same thing on OK Cupid. I posted my issue on here as well. I am sorry you went through the same things I went through. Its hard to meet someone off line as well as online and someone you can trust and spend your life with. I am convinced these dating sites only care about making money off of us that go on there thinking we are so desperate to find "true love". I have had men try to date scam me as well, but never given them any money. I have tried lots of dating sites and even facebook and its like these predators find you rather you are looking for love on a dating site or just on there for friendship like on facebook. What my husband did to me made me feel like the ugliest person in the world by going on ok cupid and having afairs with multiple women. To this day he is still acting as if I hurt him and making himself out to be the victim and his family and friends took his side. Its hard. thank you for sharing. God bless you!!!
