As many of you here on this site, I kept seeing FashionMia's ads online which looked so enticing due to their good looking clothes and low prices. I've never ordered from an online Chinese company that sells clothing and, even if I knew in my guts that I was taking a risk, I happily piled items in the online cart, then proceeded to checkout.

Sure, the money was withdrawn from my Paypal faster than i can say done. I thought it would take a couple of weeks, if not 3 for the items to come from the other side of the planet. One month went by, I had to track down my order more than once a day to see what was going on. It was like drip by drip, the items took so long from the warehouse to the shipping center and then international transit to finally reach me.

Fast forward two months, I received the first of the items I had ordered and it was fine. Subsequently (and weeks later), I received my two dresses which are nothing like it is shown on the site, on the contrary, it looks botched and the quality is really bad. I had to cut strings left by what seems to me like a rush job or tailor-made. Now it was about 3 months (yes, I know my patience deserves an award) and I kept checking online about the two remaining items and it said that they were not available anymore?

I wrote to customer service asking to cancel them and get a refund to which they agreed. But only Lord knows the pain & problematic (and pathetic excuses) I'd receive. 15 emails and 2 months later, here I am and have reached my limit. I will report them to the anti-fraud center and better business bureau for such an incredible company with the very worst business practices I have ever seen in my lifetime!

From what I can see here, we're a huge group dealing with different problems but we can't just stay here and do nothing. I am still amazed it is still running and a massive legal action should be brought against them, if it hasn't already. To anyone who is drawn or tempted to purchase clothes from their site (and others who are similar), do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else where they do business fairly and intelligently. DO NOT BUY FROM FASHION MIA, they are really going to take away your fund$ and give you headaches and frustrate you.

Shopping with real companies who care about the quality, availability of products and offer excellent, caring customer service deserves your hard earned $. Save yourselves the trouble of it all and go elsewhere. Yes it might be pricier but trust me, losing time, energy and your emotions or feeling hurt is even more expensive. As I wrote these lines I got a response back from a CS rep who wrote that I've been put on an emergency status for refund and if I can wait 6 more days, like really girl?

Last time you said 20 days and there was still snow outside. Now it's the summer and I am not going to be waiting. Hope this helps you all and if you're dealing with this unprofessional, unethical, appalling company, I feel for you.

This is more than an incovenience, it is a major problem with the way this company does business. I have forwarded you all the info (15 emails of back & forth non credible excuses).

So if i was asked 4 months ago to wait a few days to wait for refund, then that is not the truth?

I've already reported this case to the Better Business Bureau, Anti-Fraud Center and econsumer.gov.

Too bad it had to happen but hope it helps the many customers who had to experience and witness very poor and unprofessional business practice.
