Discovr Bookings - They stole $1,700 from me.

In February of 2020, I paid $1,700, half of the total estimate for the online marketing platform & SEO plan. The sales pitch was fabulous; the "demo" seemed just what i needed, the salesman was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, insightful, etc., But after they got my money, Only excuses, MANY , many, many scheduled meeting, to see the progress for my business...Often excuses about not receiving my emails, etc. often going 6 weeks without getting a reply to many many emails. when i'd finally get a "meeting" scheduled, i'd plan my entire day around it, rearranging plans and other meetings. Always postponed, delayed, lots of excuses. Eventually, they just quit replying at all.... they are in Australia, so i probably have no legal recourse...

I feel for you and sorry you've lost your money. I'm in Australia, complained to our authorities on the matter here, and Darren Mathers just ignored their correspondence. It seems as though the Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC are toothless tigers here in Australia where relatively small sums of money are concerned, so people like Darren Mather can make a nice little living out of cheating numerous people out of relatively small amounts of money.
