Update - I received a message late afternoon from Suddenlink that a technician was scheduled to arrive from 10 am to 8 pm. I hadn't requested a service call, so I called.

The appointment was to disconnect my service which I still have 9 days of service remaining that I paid for with my last statement. as of 24 hours later I still have not received an email confirming the service disconnect and a return shipping label.
