For years I've been trying to contact Verizon by phone. They continually increase my bill. Their automated phone system asks questions, puts you on hold, then after 20-60 minutes cuts you off. I call again and they say call during business hours when I am calling during their business hours. Last year I gave up after trying to contact them dozens of times and just paid the increase. Now they have increased my bill by more than 50% and I'd like to know why. Their customer service number is a real joke. I've been put on hold, transferred, cut off -- many wasted hours. I am sorry I ever contracted to do business with them. I am going to send a letter via postal mail and am not optimistic that I will hear from them. Verizon is an awful company.

User's recommendation: I do NOT recommend Verizon. They customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. They continually increase their charges for no reason by more than 50% this time.
