Laptops Direct - Warranty not upheld for refurbished HP Laptop

HP laptop purchased end April 2020 and by November 2020 keyboard letters started to peel off. Laptop merely used as backup probably once a week in domestic setting only. Complained but told that it was 'wear and tear' so not covered by £30 warranty. Machine cost over £1k including warranty...disgusted.

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

All warranties like the one you purchased do not cover cosmetic issues. Key labeling fading is considered a cosmetic issue.

This is NOT fading but the complete loss of letters which is still going on even though the machine is rarely used. Your warranties are not worth the paper they are written on and your machines are rubbish.

£1k worth of money wasted. Small claims court here I come.
