Subject: Siding

Bryan,

I bought windows & siding in 2004. I choose Home Depot due to the sales pitch of a Lifetime Warranty & knowing that Home Depot would always be around for repairs.

I even talked my neighbor into Home Depot windows & siding. After speaking with my neighbor he was given the same sales pitch of a lifetime warranty.

The fascia has come loose, hanging down & on the other side of the house I can see nails coming out of the fascia. I have been calling Gen Pak since the 1st week of September. Spoke with Darla 9/4 or 9/5, Maria 9/11, Jennifer 9/15 & Chawana 9/28.

On 9/9 & 9/15 Crystal Lewis from Gen Pak called & hung up on me the minute I answered the phone. I called back the number on my caller ID no answer 9/9. On the 9/15 call received, I called the number back on my caller ID & got voice mail. This is when I realized that Crystal Lewis was from Gen Pak.

I left a voice mail message but received no return phone call. On 10/2 Aleshia Person called from Gen Pak & informed me that my 10 year warranty had expired. This is the first time I've heard about there only being a 10 year warranty. I asked to speak with someone from Home Depot & was given a phone number that took me right back to Gen Pak.

I had warranty work done a few years ago without any issues about a 10 year warranty.

Spoke with my neighbor Shelia Brown who works at the Frisco office. She said to call the Home Depot store & that they would getdon the DO or GM involved. Reggie at the McKinney Home Depot has been trying to help me. He has been trying to communicate with you to no avail.

I was given your email address to try myself.

Since this has taken so long to get answers the damage is getting worse. At this point I just want to get it fixed. I have tried to contact the contractor that Home Depot used for installation & warranty repairs in the past. All-Around Siding & Rain Gutter out of Sherman, Texas, who of course are no longer in business.

Now I'm left with trying to find someone to do repairs since Home Depot has given no assistance.

So much for Home Depot being there well beyond installation. I would appreciate a response to this masotter.h
