Zillow has been useless with communication. They will not assist with any Zestimate with any human common sense. Their reply to my repeated assistance:Zestimate is a computer-generated algorithm and Zillow does not have the ability or a tool, to manually remove, edit,...

I have left 7 voicemail messages and 16 emails over the last 2 weeks for somebody to review my 'zestimate' contact explain to me why my 'Private Zestimate' is $191,000 but the 'Public Zestimate' is only $127,000. I'm trying to sell for $167,000 which is reasonable for my area and CANNOT GET ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from this company. Just explain to me!

Pros:
  • Free advertising
Cons:
  • No customer service for anything
  • Are effectively stealing home value from me

Preferred solution: Review & correct my public zestimate & somebody make contact!

User's recommendation: Don't count on getting ANY HELP they are catering to agents now and not the consumers who built their business!

Zestimate on a house Iโ€™m familiar with was 30% different from 2 direct neighbors with similar properties. Same build date, size, rooms, bedrooms, baths, lot size etc.

Zillows answer? Our algorithm is infallible. The arrogance and out of touch customer service make Zillow a company that should be looked into federally.

They interfere with free commerce by influencing the public with zestimates that cause seller aggravation and unrealistic buyer expectations. Zillow is truly evil.

UPDATE. I did sell my home, and with no issues on the appraisal, for $165,000. Do NOT rely on โ€˜Zestimateโ€™

Loan Depot - LOANDEPOT DID NOT INFORM ME OF LIENS ON MY PROPERTY ON RE-FI

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

There were 2 old liens on my property that I was told had been released. I paid for a title search during the re-fi and was told there were NO LIENS.

These liens were filed prior to 2010. I refinanced in 2014. 2 years later when I sold my home I had to pay over $50,000 to pay these liens. The title search I was charged for ONLY named LoanDepot as an insured.

I would not have done the refi, nor would I have qualified for this. They did however charge me over $7,000 to refi.

They have ignored my requests for a refund and I have now gone through my states Attorney General. Still in the works GO ELSEWHERE - BEWARE
