I have been in contact with senior members of travel smart. I am waiting for them to respond to the emails I have sent them. Unfortunately, it is necessary to inform other people that they are not alone in this battle. When we sat through the presentation about Travel Smart VIP they went on and on about customer service and although you are very quick to respond on this forum, the important communication that have been sent to Travel Smart are not responded to with the same amount of urgency which suggests that you're more concerned about the image the public can see than the customers themselves. That is bitterly disappointing.

It seems very interesting to me that you would post a positive review on a website littered with negative reviews. How would one even come across this website if they were posting a positive review?? Also you're talking about royalton punta Cana yet the post is Travelsmart Vip Club Royalton Riviera Cancun Vacation Ownership Review.

Just out of curiosity have you had any luck getting a response from Travel Smart? We have been trying to cancel our membership since the end of August and continue to have difficulty getting phone calls returned etc. We have spoken to people in the quality control department but nothing gets accomplished. Has ANYONE been successful in getting the membership cancelled??

I couldn't agree more. Why would someone who "loves" their experience with travel smart be trolling the internet reading complaints.
The information provided is NOT accurate. Misrepresentation is the only way to describe it.
We did not receive the resort information until AFTER we returned home. We specifically asked questions about the premium season because of the time of year we are available to travel. We were told that 10 000 points would get us a trip every year. WHAT A JOKE. You can't go anywhere for 10 000 points a year - not during the times we SPECIFICALLY asked about. The sales people (while very kind) are total scam artists. I can't believe how brutal the misrepresentation is.

Misrepresentation is the most appropriate word to describe the sales experience with Travel Smart.
We loved the Royalton but will never travel to another Royalton or use Sunwing for any air travel. I cannot believe that Sunwing would endorse this company and the scam that they are running.

We have been attempting to deal with the quality control department at travel smart since the summer. We feel your pain. The quality control department has given us quite a run around. My advice to you is to continue to use social media to express your complaints and share your story.
Travel smart is unwilling to accept any responsibility for the misrepresentation that takes place during their sales presentations. We signed up for travel smart because we love to travel and they guaranteed savings even during expensive times of the year. This could not be further from the truth. Travel smart is a scam that takes advantage of people. Once you return home it is next to impossible to communicate with them. Ironically I know there will be a response to this in good time.
