As of September 9th, I'm still waiting for confirmation that my 500 medical form was received.

To make a long story short, I filed for TDAP with Social Services (Hilton Heights District in Baltimore Maryland) on June 12th, 2020. It's September 9th, 2020 and my application still hasn't been processed. Over the last 3 months I've heard, "No one is doing anything with your case", "Your case is just sitting here", "I've put in a work order", "You're going to receive benefits within the week", "You don't need to submit a 500 medical form, your previous one hasn't expired", "They need a 500 medical from you", "We have quadruple the mail we used to get, it will take us awhile to find your medical form." I've spoken to over 8 different people about my case (Leah, Mr. Cooke, Allen, Mr. Chambers, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Washington, Lisa, Brandy, Mr. Miller) and those are just the names I can remember. I've been nothing but polite, courteous and understanding. Especially considering the disarray that the entire world is in right now, due to the pandemic. I went as far as to not file a complaint against them before because it looked as though they were finally going to do something with my application after 2 months, only for them to make me regret my decision weeks later. I'm not sure about other states, but in Maryland it is illegal to sell your food stamps, yet I see a lot of people doing it. I didn't quite understand it before, but I do now. With the way Social Services operates, it's no wonder people are resorting to that option.

User's recommendation: Never second guess filing a complaint. Some have noticed it's the only way these people will do their job. If you can file with the NASW, do so. Write a email to the Governor of your state. If possible, file a complaint with the BBB as well.

EarthLink - Increase in bill with no real reason

I'm an ongoing customer of Earthlink. In May I received my bill receipt and all the way at the bottom it stated that my bill would increase by $5.00, going from $39.95 to $44.95. There was nothing on my bill stating a reason for the increase so I decided to contact customer support using the chat function on the website. A rep by the name of, "James", told me that the increase in my bill was, "Due to rising costs in their business, they found it necessary to take this action." and it had been "several years since they conducted a price increase and they do not make those decisions lightly." He proceeded to tell me that since I had a concern, I could be excluded / revert me back to my old billing plan with immediate effect. I didn't think that was fair since I'm not the only one whose bill will increase, why should I receive special treatment regarding my bill? Just because I had a concern for WHY it was being increased? It's not like my bill is increasing and so is the speed of my DSL internet (if only that were true). My bill is just higher and I still have the same inconsistent speeds. When I questioned him further about the increase, asking if it was due to covid pandemic, he said no. He just repeated that it was due to the rising costs in their business and the increase would, "effect all Earthlink customers or just those with DSL." All customers OR just those with DSL? So not only did I not get a clear answer for the increase in my bill but they're pretty much picking whose bill will be increased and who won't? That didn't sit right with me and it still doesn't.

After the package was shipped back to SSA, they had no choice but to repackage my paperwork (because it had been opened while in FedEx's possession when it clearly said only the recipient can open it, but the envelope was also damaged) and SSA resent it using United States Postal Service instead. Which only took 1-2 days for it to arrive versus the 8-9 days FedEx had been holding it.

FedEx is clearly, trying to get sued. The last time I used FedEx was before Christmas of 2018 when I ordered a gift for my mother from Target. My package was suppose to be delivered 2 days after the order date but when I finally got it, it was almost 2 weeks later. After that, I was done with FedEx. Now, almost a year later, I am waiting for a 1lb package from FedEx. Considering it was shipped from Social Security (so I had no choice in the shipping option) not only has it been 3 days since I was SUPPOSE to receive this package but now FedEx is using the SAME excuse they used the last time I dealt with them. "Incorrect address." Oh, you mean the same address that your superior clearly saw on the same Google Maps app that you use, that you claimed doesn't exist? You mean the same address that a delivery man from Bath &;;;;;;;; Body Works found and delivered my package at 8am? You mean the same address that Social Security has sent paperwork to during the months of September and October (through regular post mail might I add) that I've received? That address? I'm convinced all FedEx locations in Maryland are incompetent at best.

An employee by the name of, Mary Ounsley, contacted me about my package the morning of delivery. Not only was she very polite, but she got all of the details regarding the trouble I had with my package being previously delivered, called me again that morning on a 3 way...

LabCorp - Billing Issue

I did not purchase or receive any service from Labcorp personally. They are only involved as a billing party for a treatment I received at Sinai Hospital.

I was referred to see a specialist by my primary care physican on 6/14/16 for a check up on a health matter. Since then I've been receiving bills from Labcorp for this appointment. I'm not suppose to get these bills because my health insurance is suppose to take care of it. They claim it's my health insurance company's fault while my insurance company has checked their records and confirmed that not only did they pay for the appointment, but that the mix up started because Labcorp had my birthdate wrong on their file claim. It's November and I'm STILL getting the same bill from Labcorp for 188.00, on top of a totally different bill for 673.00 and they're claiming it's for the same appointment on 6/14/16. They're now threatening to send a collection agency to collect the money from me.
