Home Depot had bathtub refinishing to hire and I filled out form, nobody called me for 2 weeks.

I told the man I already found another company to do the job. I couldn't believe a company like Home Depot would take this long to get back to a person who wants to hire them. Maybe they need better management there. Also I always have problems checking out at those self service check outs. I'd say about 80% of the time something goes wrong at me checking out and have to go get help and the moderator is so busy helping other people check out that it's just mind boggling they haven't figured out these self serve stations.

LOL...I am a bored housewife but way more the decorating guru that Martha Stewart is. I applied in the blind department which also sold wall paper and wall paper border at the time...i would have known that department like the back of my hand inside a two week period.

Funny thing is even though I was sooooo over experienced I was willing to work for peanuts just to get out of the house and interact with people.

HOME DEPOT WOULD NOT HIRE ME.

When I was in the very same department one day.....I had horrible customer service, the kid did not even seem to know the difference between Modern and Contemporary style borders. The store Manager said "I am sorry, we just never find any experienced people who are willing to work for such low wages" I smiled and turned away.....they obviously would not hire a designer with my experience if I paid them.

It's funny to know how those who own 10,000 sq ft homes seek me out for my talent and yet the neighboring Home Depot takes a pass. :D :roll
