Verizon Wireless - Broken phone

Dear Sir, I have purchased 2 Verizon phones, one for my grandson last October and one for my son several months ago. There have been no problems, the phones work well, the service is fine. The other day my son dropped his phone and broke it. Stupidly, I did not take out insurance on either phone. I will continue to make payments as that is what I agreed to at the time of purchase ( neither phone is completely paid for) I was just hoping if maybe out of good relations or the goodness of your heart, could we work something out? I appreciate your feedback and any help you can offer. Sincerely, Susan Gladden
