FORD CANT REPAIR MY 2007 FX4 F150

4 WEEEKS AGO I PUT MY TRUCK IN THE SHOP BECAUSE IT HAD A MISS IN THE ENGINE. THEY CHANGED ALL KINDS OF PARTS EVERY WEEK. I WAS PUT IN CONTACT WITH THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY AND TALK TO A GUY NAMED MIKE. EVERY TIME I WOULD TALK TO HIM ALL HE WOULD TELL ME IS THEY ARE WORKING ON MY TRUCK AND HE WOULD BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH ME IN 2 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS. HE WAS VERY UNHELPFUL AND WOULD NOT SEND ME THE PAPER WORK I REQUESTED FROM HIM IN ORDER TO GET FORD TO BUY BACK MY TRUCK. IT IS NOW AND HAS BEEN FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT WITH NO ONE WORKING ON IT AND NOTHING BEING DONE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. ALL THE TECHS THAT HAVE WORKED ON THE TRUCK HAVE TOLD ME THEY CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIGURE IT OUT. THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO KEEP TRYING TO CHANGE THINGS AND SPENDING MONEY ON MY TRUCK FOR NO REASON BECAUSE NOTHING THEY HAVE CHANGED OR TRIED HAS WORKED YET. WE FINALLY GOT THE PAPER WORK FROM THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO START THE PROCESS IN TRYING TO GET THE TRUCK BOUGHT BACK FROM US OR A REPLACMENT TRUCK. THEY ONLY REASON WE EVEN GOT THE PAPER WORK IN THE FIRST PLACE FINALLY SENT TO US WAS BECAUSE AFTER GOING TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND ASKING THEM WHAT OUR OPTIONS WERE, WE WERE PUT IN CONTACT WITH THE DISTRICT MANANGER FOR ALL THE DEALERSHIPS IN THE AREA. HE CALLED FORD FOR US AND THEN THEY DECIDED TO FINALLY SEND THE PAPER WORK. HE TOLD US WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BY NOW. WE DO NOT WANT TO SUE FORD. WE WOULD RATHER HAVE THIS SETTLED IN A AGREEABLE MANNOR. WE HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE LOUISIANA LEMON LAW LAWERS AND THEY ARE WILLING TO TAKE OUR CASE. THEY AGREE THAT THIS TRUCK IS MOST LIKELY A LEMON AND THIS MATTER NEEDS TO BE SETTLED. ALL WE WANT IS FOR FORD TO STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND DO THE RIGHT THING IN PUTTING US IN A TRUCK EQUAL TO OR BETTER THAN OUR CURRENT VEHICLE. I AM A DIE HARD FORD MAN AND I LOVE MY FORD TRUCKS. I JUST HOPE THEY CAN STAND BY WHAT I ALWAYS THOUGHT FORD WAS MADE OF. I HAVE OWNED A 1979 F150, 2003 F150, 2005 F150 AND NOW A 2007 F150. I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO CHANGE MY MIND. I HOPE TO NEVER BECOME A CHEVY MAN.

'07 Ford F150

Today August 9th, 2007, was the dead line that Ford Motor Company told me they would know something about my 07 F150. Which has been in the shop for a month now. This evening one hour before the dead line was over someone called to tell me that they had techs working on my truck to try to find the problem. I told him that is what they have been telling me for a month now and he acting like there was something else wrong with the vechile other then it missing. He said by monday before 5:00 pm he would tell me what would happen. He asked what would make me happy. I told him the only thing I want is a buy back. He aggreed with me that if it was him in the same situation that is what he would want too. I just want ford to back their product and their word. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to let everyone know what is going on with this situation.

lucky for you none died. I wish Ford could fix my issue with them, but they are not Jesus.

all I have is a burded up Lincoln and a box of ashes of what use to be my 22 yr old son. and of course the recall letter that stated my car had a defective cruise control switch. The problem is Ford Motor company knew this switch was defective in the early 90's when it was first designed, why did they wait until august the 3rd of 2007 to recall mine? 7 months to late for my Payton Lewis ,that burned alive on 12-09-06.

Ford od course, has unlimited attorney's and money to go to battle with me. Payton's father's case was resloved, with no settlement, because he died of the stress of loosing his only child. They like to make the plaintiffs suffer as much as possible, if I die they will be happy. They are evil.

we are not the only ones. Ford dettled the case of the girl that was killed with Payton, but not our family.

they did not send flowers/ or replace my car, they have done nothing positive, to help in our time of need. :cry

Get your owners manual and look in the back of the for the address to the Corporate headquarters nearest you.

Ford Trucks has a Western National HQ in Los Angeles… all you have to do is write a letter of complaint, and what your resolution is that you want under your warranty paperwork.

Tell them you are dissatisfied and you want a new motor put in the truck… not a “short block” replacement but a full motor replacement as under the warranty.

Tell them you have gotten the run around and that you will go to your states attorney generals office to file complaints.

I did that and got a new motor installed.

I WAS TOLD THEY HAVE CHANGED THE COMPUTER,ALL 8 INJECTORS, ALL 8 COILS, THEY DID A FUEL TEST, CHANGED A BUNCH OF CENSORS ON THE CAM SHAFT. THEY ALSO FLEW IN A TECH. SPECIALIST IN FORD TRUCKS, HE ALSO COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM. EVERYONE AT ALL STAR FORD HAS BEEN WORKING ON THIS TRUCK AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TRUCK. ONE WEEK AGO I REQUESTED A BUY BACK ON MY TRUCK FROM FORD MOTOR COMPANY DIRECTLY. THEY KEEP SAYING SOMEONE WILL GET BACK TO ME IN 2 TO 5 DAYS AND NOONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS. I HAVE CONTACTED 2 LAWERS ABOUT LEMON LAWS, ONE IS READY TO TAKE ACTION, BUT BOTH HAD THE SAME OPPTION ABOUT THE SITUATION. I AM TRING TO GIVE FORD A CHANCE BUT THEY ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. I AM STILL PAYING MY NOTE AND DON'T HAVE MY TRUCK TO DRIVE. FORD DID GET ME A RENTAL, BUT IT IS NO WHERE NEAR AS NICE AS MY TRUCK AND I AM HAVING TO PAY 20.00 A DAY FOR INSURANCE ON IT. I AM AFFRIAD THEY WILL TRY TO FIX MY TRUCK JUST ENOUGH TO GET IT PAST WARRENTY TIME AND IT WILL BREAK AGAIN. MY TRUCK ONLY HAS 18,000 MILES ON IT NOW. I HAVE BEEN BUYING FORDS SINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO DRIVE AND HAVE INFULENCED MANY FAMILY MEMBERS TO BUY FORD ALSO. ALL I WANT FROM FORD IS ANOTHER TRUCK LIKE MINE, NEW. TO CARRY MY FAMILY AND SOMETHING I CAN DEPEND ON . I HOPE FORD WILL COME THROUGH AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION SO I DON'T HAVE TO TAKE THIS IN TO FURTHER MATTERS. ANY OPTIONS ABOUT ME CONTACTING BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ABOUT THIS PLEASE EMAIL ME AT 5PAYNE143@***.NET

You are right. They will patch it up until warranty expires.

It happened to us with a 2004 F-250. Truck was bought new. Kept trying to stall out. Taken to 3 dealersips countless times, lots of patching and guessing.

Was told by one to drive it very fast.?? Warranty up 2000 miles ago. Now along with that problem we also have rear end going out! Beware!!

Good luck with enforcing Lemon Law. Too late for us.
