Shea Homes - Poor Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Our family has been communicating with numerous (>;;20) home builders for the area south of Houston, TX and have been getting information regarding the energy efficiency of their homes, specifically the HERS ratings and how they insulate their attics from the environment. We have been getting charts and home lists and articles and all sorts of information - all freely given.

However, when we contacted Shea Homes, specifically Home Advisor Cody Verilek, we were told he did not have the information and to make an appointment to go see the houses and talk to the people face-to-face. Other home builder representatives similarly did not have the information, but hey either got it for us or got hold of someone who did.

Shea Homes is the ONLY home builder we have spoken to that is requiring us to visit their homes to get information on their homes. Why should we waste half a day driving 60 miles to a location, when the information could be given over the phone, text, or e-mail?
