Decameron Hotels will hold your refund for months

Even when it's their faulty reservation system to blame. We booked a certain room type for a family in March (2bdrm), and paid by credit card. The money was taken instantly. On check-in, the room type wasn't available, so the family ended up crammed into one room. How does a hotel not know how many rooms they have? Decameron admits the issue, offers a refund but says it may take 90 days to process the refund, and it has to be a wire transfer, won't refund my credit card. This is sickening; I will never stay at one of their hotels again. The staff at the hotel made some effort to assist but the attitude and un-helpfulness of the central office is a disgrace.
