Covercraft - Order never updated or shipped

I ordered a custom-made dash mat on 1/16/21. It was supposed to ship on 1/29/21. The order status never updated. I reached out to them three times, with no response to my emails (which they request the issues to be responded via email not phone). I filed a complaint with the BBB last week. I decided to file a dispute of the transaction with my credit card company as well. I have dealt with them before with no issues either directly or through automotive stores where you can also order their products from. It is a shame. Next complaint going to the attorney generals office of their corporate location in Oklahoma. Beware

I filed a complaint with the BBB on Friday 1/29/2021. HSN got it on Monday and asked for the tracking numbers of the returns.

Zmodo - Cameras not working, lack of support

They never got in touch with me and I have replaced that system with a different, more user friendly one.

My cameras suddenly stopped working, Their lack of support is mind boggling. We have the 8 camera system with and NVR and they are wireless. These have always been hard cameras to connect, but once done - worked fine. Now all of a sudden, they are all offline and won't connect. It sucks as this was not a cheap system to get. I hate to think of the massive amount of money wasted on this whole package, and then having to go out and buy a new system as well.

User's recommendation: Get something else.

Verizon Wireless - Verizon sucks

My husband, the account holder recently passed away. I went to a local Verizon store showed them the death certificate. They said I would have to get back on the phone to Customer Service to get things handled that they could do nothing at the store other than notate that I brought in the death certificate for that account. Came home, got on the phone and spoke to a Naomi and a Kay and neither could help me cause I didn't know my husbands pin number for his phone. So basically they cannot do anything, either in the store or on the phone which are your only options for getting stuff done. It's hard enough to deal with this stuff without getting the run around from people that cannot help you. And having to go through both is a nightmare. Talk about a lousy way to deal with things. It sucks. So instead I am going to file complaints with the ftc, BBB, Attorney Generals offices of my state and the state Verizon corporate is located in, and whomever else to get this handled to my satisfaction. Decided overnight I am not willing to stay as a consumer with this company after this incident. Spoke to the gentleman from the Nv State Atty Gen Off this morning and he is sending a letter stating I want out of the contract entirely after this incident with no fees of any kind due. BBB has already forwarded the complaint to them as well. These are very difficult situations and when you have encountered three people that cannot get things handled, it's frustrating and frankly makes this company look like fools. Why can't it be done by one person. Verizon did try calling me but when I told them I was recording the conversation as well, they stated they could not talk to me. That's ok, I want everything in writing anyway.

TMobile - T Mobile Service Sucks

WAS TRAVELING FOR HOLIDAYS TO GO FROM WEST COAST TO EAST COAST. IN THE MIDDLE OF TN MY CELL SERVICE DISAPPEARED. GOT TO MY DESTINATION - NO SERVICE, AND ERROR MESSAGE STATES NOT REGISTERED IN NETWORK. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY KEEP TRYING TO FIX ISSUE, FINALLY STATE I BASICALLY HAVE NO SERVICE IN THIS AREA. STRANGE AS WE WERE HERE LAST YEAR AND HAD SERVICE FINE - HAVE FILED MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS WITH FTC, BBB, ATTY GEN OFFICE. WILL MAKE SURE THEY FIX ISSUE AND THEY PAY FOR IT - EVEN IF I HAVE TO CHANGE CARRIERS. IT IS A PAIN IN THE *** THOUGH THATTHIR SERVICE AREA SUCKS!!! Damage Resulting

I was a customer service rep and you are exactly the type of customer we despise. No wonder you didn't get any help, we don't like to help people who are mean to us.

Service issues are one of the hardest problems to fix. And by the way, towers change and service areas can move so one year is a big difference.

And I'm sure the FTC, BBB, and the Attorney Generals Office think you're hilarious for your ridiculous claim.

Hotwire Policy Stinks

We had a trip to southern California planned; now my husbands health is an issue. But the hotel we booked through Hotwire can't be transferred to someone else, and I have a chance to get rid of the whole package and get some of my money back; but for this issue with the hotel...maybe I did get a decent rate but with policies like this, I won't be using them or recommending them to anyone. This trip was planned since March 2009; and even if I had bought the trip insurance, I'm sure these companies just make money off those deals and rarely do you get you money refunded unless someone dies!!! Typical, but they've lost a customer and word of mouth travels fast and lousy customer policies travel faster. You would think in these tough economic times exceptions to the rules would be better than a lousy review of your company!!!

Home Shopping Network - Boycott HSN

I had a problem with an item I bought from them, I returned it and they didn't want to give me my money back. So I filed disputes with the credit card company, and they stated if I did that, I wouldn't be able to order from them anymore. That is obviously true (I had heard other stories about this but they weren't confirmed); they must flag the address - my daughter has an account with them and tried to order from them and they refused to place the order to ship to our address! So sad that they have to be so petty about a consumer that's only protecting their rights under the law. And especially in this economy. If only the manufacturers they sell for knew of these practices - wonder what would happen then. We should all boycott HSN!

Gateway Support Sucks!

My daughter got a desktop pc and it's been nothing but problems. Their support people refused to send us the recovery disks and it turned out to be a failed oem hd; and now she's having issues with support for other items such as the 15 in 1 card reader, etc... Their support staff doesn't even read the emails and give back the info requested. The phone calls to them are even worse - what a nightmare! Don't buy their products if you can help it... I have filed complaints with the BBB and the attorney generals office in Ca where their corp offices are. Shouldn't have to pay for recovery disks they should be incl in the boxes... And support staff needs to read, understand and speak english!

Gateway claims they "sold" their "business warranties" to "MPC Computers". MPC went out of business 6 months ago.

Of course, Gateway didn't bother telling anyone they were doing this, nor did the warranty agreements you [we!] had with them have a clause for transferability.

Gateway is in Chapter 11 reorganization right now, and HP has purchased the company.

If you bought a warranty, you were not "out of luck, oh well, business go belly up all the time, deal with it..." no no no... you were flat out ripped off.

CONTACT THE BBB (www.bbb.org) and file a complaint. This is what I have done (well, I'm in the middle of doing the paperwork while I write this).

I also recommend contacting the Attorney General of the US's office since most people purchased their computers online (inter-state commerce clause gives the Feds domain over this issue, calling your State's AG will not result in anything).

Lastly, I have been writing letters to Staples and other companies that carry Gateway computers-- showing them the PROOF that I was ripped off and asking them to not carry Gateway any longer.

Home Shopping Network - HSN Complaints - Acer Netbook

I purchased an Acer Netbook, it turned out to be defective. I returned thru the USPS and HSN claims they never received it. Now fighting with them for my refund. Have filed several complaints from the BBB, Atty Gen Offices (FL, CA, TX), and with the USPS (postal inspector - mail theft). When I told HSN I was also disputing chrages with credit card company - they stated if I did so, I would not be allowed to shop with them anymore -how ridiculous is that statement? I also filed a complaint with Acer, as I feel that HSN's policy severely reflects on the brands they advertise and sell on their network.

The employees are actually barred from writing any reviews unless they have purchased the product themselves - and HSn has no way of finding out that the employees are the ones that wrote it. I AM an employee, and have written more than a dozen bad reviews AND good reviews.

While I admit that some of our products are not good (Acer & Gateway being at the top of the list), we do try to do what we can. And yes, the credit card does suck.

I purchased a set of pots from HSN -ULTRA something or other - they are supposed to have a livetime warranty...the pots are falling apart and when I contacted HSN they told me they do not deal with the manufacturer anymore so it's my problem. What about standing behind what you sell??

And all those positive feed backs about HSN are sent in by employees. This is a *** outfit that sells low quality merchandise.

I just found out the hard way. Hopefully everyone will listen and they will either clean up their act or go out of business.

I bought 10 of those Acer's and have not had any problems, I have been purchasing from HSN for 5 years and I have never had any problems,I have also returned items and received a full refund. I think one of the problems people have is that they do not listen to the entire program on tv or read the information online before they buy items.

Always look for reviews before you buy anything. Also when returning items always get a tracking number from UPS and pay the extra for insurance if the product is a computer or tv.

Always call customer service supervisor and have them set up a return. Follow my advise and you will not have any problems

I ordered a laptop from HSN and they said, at the time, they had thousands...well, now they are saying I might not get it as they can't get enough from their distributor. The HSN should be legally barred from advertising products they don't have ready to ship. It's fraud to advertise what they don't have....

I was also screwed over by HSN. I bought a GPS and returned it with two day delivery through USPS with the pre-printed label they included in the package.

They claim they never got my return either. They also like to misrepresent products on air, that turn out to not really have the features they say they do. I had also bought a lexmark printer through them that *** out 6 months later.

HSN is a joke! I am also contacting the BBB
