Lone Star Moving Company - Lonestar moving employees stole jewelry!

Lonestar Moving in Carrollton Texas stole my wife's wedding ring. The movers showed up early to begin with the move. My wife had taken off her three rings that she ALWAYS wears and laid them on the end of the countertop bar so that she could do some last minute claening for the new owners to move in. She had gone to the bathroom and upon her return noticed that two of the rings were present but, not the wedding ring. She told me about it and I confronted the foreman and the other men about the theft. They denied it (of course). The foreman called his boss and ths boss suggested that I call the police. Think about it. They have all of our stuff already loaded in the van and the pretty much have an inventory of everything that I own and the know my new address which is approximately six miles from the old residence. My wife of course was distraught, we are not rich people. My wife and I are both teachers, thus, this is a major issue. She did not want to call the police because: one; the ring won't be found by the officer because it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Afterall, they have all of our stuff, a large moving van and more tape than anyone do anything with. Two: my wife was scared of retaliation and we have two young children. I called the company later after the move. They said this happens all the time adn that it is probably misplaced in a box somewhere. I replied absolutely not. I don't know which of the three movers took the ring and I don't want to make an accusation. I simply said that one of them have it and I would like it returned in an obvious place before they left. It never happened. Again, Ideal with students everyday as does my wife and we like to see the good in everyone. But, it never returned. I called back to Lonestar movers the next day and they said that I needed to speak with "Joey". He explained that I should have called the police at the time of the incident and I explained the the reason that I did not. Since they are licensed and bonded and insured I asked If I could make a claim. Afterall, I have the original receipt of the wedding ring. He stated that I should wait until evrything is unpacked. So, I called two days later, Monday morning, and "Joey" was on another call and I was told that he would call me back (never did). I called back later that same day and was told no one was there to help me i.e. a manager. Today is Tuesday and I have called back twice. The first time "Joey" was in the bathroom and they said that he would call me back. I called again later and I got a voice mail. Of course, no help. BEWARE of LONESTAR MOVERS in Carrollton, Texas
