Dutchmen - Used one time, fell apart before we ever even went camping!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Bought in March, Covid hit, and we finally made reservations for July to go camping. Water pump doesn't work, noticed the fireplace crooked by about 2-3 inches, fridge door falling apart, light switch doesn't work, railing going outside on steps broke in my hand and I fell down steps to the ground.....did I mention I only weight 140 lbs??

Strips behind the awning, covering the electrical, fell out and the release cord for the $3500 installed Anderson hitch broke. What the heck? Its been in the shop with one service person working on all campers. I don't see using the camper anytime soon in the future.

Sad to pay over $50,000 for something that falls apart with poor workmanship. We had an old camper that that was built so much better that we sold to buy this one.....wish I could go back in time!!! I gave low review because of getting to use my camper.

Would have been a great value for my money if I was using and didn't have all these problems. That's no value and you should have better service to fix all the problems that your manufacturer screws up and doesn't care about the buyer, just the money we waste buying your cheap product.

I have been contacting all to get these problems solved. Now, six weeks after being in the shop, the black water release doesn't work.

Still can't go camping!! Can't winterize until that part comes in, been waiting over 2-3 wks for that part and for someone to repair it!! Also, there are screws hanging down, 20-30 of them under the belly. Looks like they ran out of short screws and just used long screws to finish the camper.

Looks terrible. We used this camper one time this summer, and couldn't even use the shower because of the pump. Would you be happy paying $400 a month for a BRAND New camper and couldn't even use it? Don't think so!!

I had already talked to Denee Mast, Retail Advisor in May. Vin #4YDF3172XLM960094 Vin #

Dutchman will only try to patch what’s wrong. Not actually fix it. They don’t stand behind their product.
