Unexpected Google account disablement

My Google account, thaiha201019@***.com, was unexpectedly restricted, and this has caused me enormous stress and heartbreak.

I used this account mainly for my studiesstoring lecture notes, assignments, and academic emailsbut it also holds years of personal photos and irreplaceable family memories.

The problem happened when I lent my computer to my younger brother. While I was away, he accessed inappropriate content without my knowledge.

Shortly afterward, Google restricted my account due to that activity.

I immediately appealed through Google's official process, but every appeal was automatically rejected. No real person has ever reviewed my case.

Losing access to my academic materials is bad enough, but the thought of permanently losing my family photos and memories is devastating. Those moments can never be recreated.

I fully respect Google's policies and take full responsibility for not supervising my brother's use of my computer. I sincerely apologize for my oversight.

I am not asking for special treatmentonly a fair, manual review by a human who can see the full context.

User's recommendation: I would advise other customers to be very careful when allowing someone else to use a device that is signed in to their Google account, even if it is someone they trust. Make sure your account is protected and understand that activity on a shared device may have serious consequences. I also hope Google can improve the process for cases like mine by providing a clearer way to request a human review when an account is disabled unexpectedly. When an appeal is automatically rejected and it can leave the customer feeling helpless, especially when important educational files, personal data, and family memories are involved. A clearer review process and a genuine opportunity to explain the circumstances would make a significant difference for customers facing situations like this.
