The XDiavel Sport windscreen comes with bolts that are too short to be safe. These bolts hold the handlebars to the motorcycle, and WILL fail.

The bracket also interferes with access to the rear bolts, making it impossible to torque them properly.

Puig customer support is ignoring the problem. I have written several letters to them alerting them to this unsafe condition. I have also learned that it is COMMON, there are many complaints about it on the Ducati Diavel forum.

All say the same, PUIG ignores them.

HORRIBLE engineering. HORRIBLE customer service.

I purchased this "sport" windscreen from an Ebay seller from Italy for an XDiavel. BEWARE!!! The bolts that came with it are MUCH too short, and are black steel instead of the OEM stainless that must come off. Also, you cannot get a socket or torque wrench on the back bolts, they are directly under their own bracket. HORRIBLE DESIGN!!! And now I am stuck with it, because I am NOT paying $50+ to ship it back to Italy to get back $128 of what will now be a $210 cost with both shipping expenses. I contacted Puig USA to see if they had a remedy, and they told me to go back to the reseller for new bolts. NOT HAPPENING! Italy! They wouldn't pay the return shipping for a flawed product, they sure as *** aren't sending me bolts. And it wouldn't fix the design flaw that prohibits access to the rear bolts for tightening anyway. Just AVOID this product until they Fix Their Stuff.

Why would you buy from eBay in Italy? Geez, you can get these from Revzilla. Tuff luck.

Harley Davidson - Does NOT stand behind their work

DON'T BOTHER with the service department, Harrison's Motorcycle in Brighton is MUCH better, and CHEAPER. After spending $50K on a couple scoots, parts and service over the past couple years, you would think I would be valued here. NOPE. Paid dearly to have a stage one kit installed. The ham fisted mechanic who put my breather on, apparently had TWO bowls of wheaties that morning. Two of the 3 bolts snapped, and the third was so horribly stripped that when the air filter fell off while on a road trip (I never saw it go), the dealership that installed a new one had to install a helicoil. Two extractions, a helicoil, a new Stage 1 breather and $510 later, I was back on the road. I asked Brighton HD for some relief. After the Service Manager, Brett, made me jump through MANY hoops to get them the receipt (Brighton supplied a bad fax number), when they could have just CALLED the other dealership and confirmed their screwup, they decided to just blow me off. I walked in, and told them to delete my customer info and stop the sales calls, emails, and postal fliers. "OK" the Sales Manager said. That's what you're business and loyalty is worth to Brighton HD. Nothing. They get $95/hr for a $15 mechanic, and won't even warranty the work. They stand behind their customers, alright. With a big ole chubby, just waiting for you to drop the soap..

every Harley Davidson dealership i have been to will not and never will stand behind there work. *** the tecs dont know anything about any harley other than the newest one sold.

was having a problem with my radio which they know they have this problem but they just say sorry its your problem. they have there clothes made in china and sell them for crazy prices

The mechanic didn't torque it to spec and should have fixed the problem before it left the shop

Everything is getting cheaper on harleys. Chinese bolts break all the time.

They keep making a cheaper product. As long as some sucker will continue to buy it.

Colonial Heating and Cooling - 8 years ago, an excellent company. Now?

Let me start by saying that the INSTALL of this, 8 years ago, was superb. I believe this was an excellent company. HOWEVER, the REPAIR processes have been less than idea. This is currently the state of affairs, I will post an update and new score when the work is FINALLY completed... The conversation I had with Colonial today (12/23/15): Me "Hi, you guys checked out my broke down furnace on Monday, Today is Thursday,and it still isn't working, and winter will be here.. oh wait.." CHC "Oh yes, you have the extended warranty. There is paperwork that slows that process down that we are waiting on" Me "So you are saying that when I opt for the extended warranty, it is going to require extra DAYS in the winter, to get a repair done" CHC "Uh... well, there is a process..." Me "Just sayin, wasn't really one of the advertised features. What about the rust and crud from the leaking condensate? Are we going to fix that and replace the damaged parts?" CHC "Well, our records indicate that you have not had the biannual HVAC tune up done regularly as required in writing on the bottom of your warranty contract" Me "Another feature I was left unaware of. I've had it 8 years, and you've been out 4 times on repairs. Doesn't that qualify?" CHC "Well, we did repairs but not the tune up" Me "And so.. this is MY fault?" CHC "Uhh.. we have a lot of customers" Me "Amazing. How did THAT happen? " CHC "uhh.. Me "So when will my furnace be repaired" CHC "Well, it is the holidays sir, and so we are a little short staffed" Me "You're just killing yourself to make that next sale when this dies, aren't you?" CHC "uh... We will have someone out tomorrow sir" Me "Oh thank God, because you know, 4 days of winter without a furnace, any longer COULD be a problem.. Do you think your guy could at least try to figure out WHY my condensate is leaking all over and rusting my furnace" CHC "Please let the technician know when he arrives to check it?" Me "I need to notify a trained HVAC technician to check why there is a plethora of rust in places it doesn't belong?" CHC "uhh... "
