RVC Promotions - Failure to Repay Loan - Judgment Obtained

RVC Promotions - Failure to Repay Loan - Judgment Obtained
Update by user Aug 04, 2019

Read the comments! Ryan has numerous judgments and has failed to honor his financial commitments to several people who have done business with him.

Update by user Mar 23, 2019

RVC Promotions and Ryan Childers continue to operate the business and have failed to make any payment arrangements on the judgment. Consequently, attorneys are pursuing the next steps in collection.

This includes garnishments, liens, and asset seizure by the Sheriff.

A search of public court records show 4 different attempts to file bankruptcy over the years. Don't let Ryan fool you.

Ryan Childers is the owner operator of RVC Promotions. I made a loan to the company back in mid 2018 with a guaranty by Ryan and unfortunately only $500 was repaid. I had to hire an attorney and was able to get a judgment in the amount of $30,433.13 on January 16, 2019 in case no. 18-1051*-393 in Denton County District Court. Ryan and RVC need to repay their debts.

Here is a list of related court case numbers in the corresponding counties which lists Mr. Childers / RVC Promotions as the defendant (note, his wife Sunnye Childers is also listed as a defendant in a handful of suits) . You can search the majority of these cases on-line to read the particulars: Denton: J02-121J6 S16-142J6 CR-2017-0****-C 18-7010-*** *8-1051*-*** S18-326J6 S18-383J6 17-317*-*** 19-053*-*** Dallas : CC-03-02100-C Collin: 004-031**-**18 004-8****-2019 Rockwall: 1-19-**** Tarrant: JP02-18-SC00020267

@Anonymous

August will be fun for Mr. Childers.

He has a contempt hearing Aug 9th and when he doesn't show it's warrant time. Denton County doesn't mess around.

WARNING: American Home Shield is a SHAM. RUN AWAY!!!!

Update by user Jun 08, 2016

Example of actual AHS coverage -

AC freon cost $60-$85 per pound. AHS only covers up to $10 per pound so you are stuck paying the difference of $50-$75 per pound.

You can be assured you'll pay closer to $75 per pound because the contractors AHS uses have the highest prices. You could skip all this and pay $60 per pound by avoiding AHS in the first place not to mention the cost of the sham warranty coverage.

Original review posted by user Jun 07, 2016
American Home Shield (AHS) is a sham. The warranty only covers a very small percentage of the repair cost and the repair costs are so excessive from their network of contractors that you can get a lower cost repair, with less headache, simply by going direct to a contractor. When you try and talk to someone at AHS, the hold time is always over 10 minutes. You can cancel but they won't issue any refund, even for payments made for future contract terms. That's where a credit card dispute comes in. The company is an absolute sham. Very deceptive, shady business practices, zero customer service. Federal authorities need to investigate and will shut them down.

Sprint - Customer Care Review from Irving, Texas

Update by user Jan 06, 2016

Problem solved. I couldn't take it anymore and paid the $581 to leave Sprint and go back to Verizon.

What good is a phone if you can't use it? The Sprint network is a complete joke.

Original review posted by user Dec 02, 2015
Sprint is absolutely the worst cell phone company on the market. The coverage is nonexistent. To say they offer unlimited data, text, and phone is a joke. It is unlimited nothing. I constantly have dropped calls, have no coverage in a major metropolitan area, and customer service could care less. To make matters worse they want several hundred dollars to get out of my contract. They employ great marketing tactics to get you to join Sprint and then you will learn there is no coverage.

I have the same problem, I have been trying to get help with my bad service for the past 4 months, no one seems to care enough to do something about it, I was trying to schedule a payment too but now my line is disconnected. I have asked for something to be done and no one helps but i missed the payment and my phone gets discconected just on time.

Sprint customer service is the worse ever.

They just told me they can't do anything until I make a payment. How convenient is it that when I needed the help no one helped but now you need payment to look into a solution.

Michael Hamilton with Hamilton's Hardscape in Dallas, Texas is a professional *** man. We paid him $6000 by check in advance of a landscape project for materials and he never did any work. It was excuse after excuse on why the project was never started and when I finally called the suppliers where he said he ordered the material one confirmed no order existed and the second vendor confirmed that the delivery to our home kept being rescheduled because they had not been paid by Michael Hamilton. Further research immediately discovered two other victims in the DFW area I spoke with who had the same thing happen to them. Michael takes their money via check, never does any work and then disappears. He is very convincing and comes off as honest and real which is because he is a PROFESSIONAL *** MAN! He even talks about church he's that much of a fraud! Stay far away from this low life who will eventually get what he deserves.
