Benjamin Moore - Complaint

Dear Benjamin Moore, I got this email address after I called your customer service line. I wanted to know your suggested retail prices you give to the stores. After I was given that, I asked for contact information to your ceo or coo. I told the lady I realize they probably won’t take calls, so can you give me an email address. She then looked for this info, telling me no problem. But then I was suddenly transferred to some *** named Jon Lupa. I started the conversation by asking why I was transferred to him, he says I’m not speaking to anyone else. So I wanted to know why you have such high priced paint that has gone up exponentially over the years. Just so you know I’ve been painting for 25 years now. The Aura is at 80 retail now, floor paint at 60. I used to pay 55 and 30. Just two examples. I realize you give contractors different prices depending on volume bought. So, the public is not offered these prices and are stuck with your ridiculous profitable prices. How do you justify charging so much at such little cost? The can costs more than the paint. Your right to do so? Is that your answer? Just rip people off while you prosper. How much more will all these prices go up. Do you have anything comparable to Lowe’s and Home Depot. There highest priced paint is 55 yours is 80. The regal is 60. So what have you done for the thousands of independent painters across the country during this pandemic? One store employee told me call your customer service line they can maybe get you a discount. Laughable. How much money have you spent on tv commercials during the pandemic, you have one every tv break for commercial. Looks like you got plenty of money, you gonna help us out. Oh I forgot, you had a drastic increase in dyi painters, which put me out of work. Don’t care huh? Still making plenty of money. Did you ever stop to think about how the independent contractors are doing? Well we barely have any work, I guess someone needs to tell you If I haven’t made myself clear, I just want to let you know I will never use your paint again, and I will talk all my customers in to using something else, it’s very easy to explain. It’s just paint and there are several good paints to choose from. Your company has acted atrociously immoral lately, disgusting. I hope your ceo has the balls to call me back. So here’s my number 480381****. I’m not looking to talk to anyone else that doesn’t make decisions. If your reading this forward it to your ceo and coo, or you can just ignore it like I expect you will. So let me know what your gonna do to help out the painters that MADE YOUR COMPANY. Sincerely, Justin Mitnick
