Printer has never worked properly; Epson never responds to help request

I have an Epson 430 Workforce printer that has turned into a giant piece of trash. It has never worked properly even when brand new out of the box.

It eats ink, but the print quality is horrible -- often so light it cannot be seen/read easily. It jams if you put in any paper heavier than the cheapest trash paper; it jams with card stock or photo paper and the print result is barely legible. As for Epson support...yeah...what support? I've sent numerous tickets requesting assistance and the only response I've received has been a canned response saying they will get in touch...months pass and no response.

They have no interest in retaining customers or assisting them when their pieces of junk printers don't work properly. Now the printer has decided to stop printing at all...new ink cartridge and still no ink on the paper. Clean, reset, align...different cartridge...nothing. I'm considering turning it into a boat anchor.

Once upon a time Epson made some of the best printers on the market. Today...yeah, trash and lousy customer non-service.
