Horrible customer service l, I wish they cared even a small ol amount. Nope they do not and they keep playing games.

Temu - Hanging up in me

I have called now a total of seven times. Each and every single time I call, they hang up on me.

They are not helping in any way, form, or fashion. They will not assist me in any way, form, or fashion. They are doing absolutely nothing, and I do mean nothing, to help in any way. What kind of company thinks it's okay to take money from a customer and then treat the customer so horrifically bad?

That is absolutely un-American on every level.

Shame on you; you should totally be ashamed of yourself as a company. How dare you.

Preferred solution: I would like for starters for somebody to actually talk to me. I want a refund. And I want my items shipped.

Temu - Overpayment and Won't help

I have emailed them repeatedly. I have called them to which they keep hanging up on me.

I keep getting response emails just thanking me for letting them know there was an issue and then nothing is done.

Oh and after that they asked me to leave a review funny. I am still yet to get anything done, I'm out the money and no items to show for it.

So it was this Christmas, and I had purchased quite a bit of Christmas gifts from Temu. I had participated in one of their online sale event things that they have.

And the event was that if you bought a certain amount of dollars, then you got three gifts for a penny. I had surpassed the amount agreed to purchase to get it taken down to a penny. When I finally contacted customer service because the app kept telling me that I had not fulfilled my end of the agreement, I finally reached out to customer service. Customer service then goes on to tell me—and by the way, his name was Lester Brown—that he did proceed to tell me that I had not met all of my requirements because I had three open sales with them.

To which I stated, 'No, I did not, but how do we close out the other? If I do buy some small chance, how do I close those out so I could just get these three?' He told me I could not do that; it was not an option that I had to fulfill for all of them. I asked, 'Okay, well how much more would I still owe?' To which he replied I would still owe $118. Remind you that the three gifts that I picked for a penny totaled $62.88.

Now why would I participate in a sale that I had to spend an extra $118 on top of the $287 I had already spent on Temu to qualify for the three pennies? Why would I knowingly and willingly spend seven times the amount of what the original gifts were? To me, that just doesn't make any sense. Well, when I continued to speak with Lester, he became very, very disgruntled.

And then he switched his story to I just hadn't paid enough money in, and all of a sudden all the other add-ons and all of that were just gone; they were no longer there. They were not employed; I don't know what happened to them, I don't know what he did, I have no idea. Well, when I asked him if I could speak to his manager, he said yes, and he put me on hold. I was on hold for probably about an hour and 15 minutes when he decided to come back to the line and say, 'Have I made up my mind yet?' I said, 'My mind to what?' He said, 'Are you just going to let me give you a $15 credit, and all of this goes away?' And I said, 'Really?

You're supposed to be hooking me up with your manager.' Oh no, I'm not going to let you talk to her. I was like, 'Yes, you are.' So through all of this, he finally—this is about two and a half hours later—supposedly put me on the phone with his manager, which was again still all through text, and she said the exact same things that he did, so I do believe it was just him again. To her, now I have an open review with them, and guess who is the person checking my messages through all of this? It's still Lester Brown; I still haven't got to talk to anybody else.

So I finally decided to go to this website here, theconsumer.com, which I have called at least four or five times, and they keep hanging up on me. So now I have spent all of this money, and I still haven't even gotten the free gifts, so that's just the funniest part about it all. And the gifts that I have received are not even what I've ordered, and I've actually tried to put in a complaint with that, and guess who was the person with that? It was Mr.

Lester Brown once again. So I just don't know what to do. If anybody has any advice for me, please let me know. My name is Joni Richardson.

Preferred solution: I would like an apology. I would like a delivery of the items I was trying to get in the first place. And I would like a refund of all the other crap that they made me buy that I didn't even want and that I got and won't they won't take back now.

User's recommendation: Do not go through them. Please read all the friend print please make sure that what you're getting is 100%

you could try using the live chat in the Temu app or on temu.com. From what I’ve seen, live chat usually connects faster, and starting a new chat normally puts you with a different support agent, not the same one again.
