Xcel Energy - Technician never returned to turn gas on after plumber finish work

A loud vibrating and rowing 24/7 noise was being made outside the two bedrooms in the basement. The noise was disturbing and interfering with my nightly sleep. I called XCEL Energy to report the problem. It took a week for technician over a week to come out. The reason for the arrival were because of a public utilities and governors office complaints. On 6/17/20 approximately 15:45 p.m. the technician arrived at the residents and begin the process of replacing the meter. After completing the process he discovered a gas leak inside the laundry room. Therefore, the gas could not be turned back on until the problem was repaired. A certified plumber was called to correct the issue. The technician had specifically stated to call XCEL upon completion of the repair. I called them approximately 18:30 p.m. in hopes of getting the tech back to the residents. I was told someone would be there before 22:00 p.m. A phone call was made again approximately 22:00 and 22:25 p.m. Each time I was told that there were other emergencies going on. On 6//18/20 I begin the process of calling again. The supervisor of the district was left three voice messages. He chose not to return the calls. In addition XCEL Facebook, XCEL Tweeter, and customer service was contacted. An entire day has lapsed and the technician has not returned as of 6/18/20.

User's recommendation: DO NOT GET IN AN XCEL ENERGY AREA FOR SERVICE.
