I was supposed to be refunded the money by Aug 4th. I'm still waiting for confirmation from my bank.

I had to send in proof to my credit card company but they've already taken care of it.

I am so disgusted with this company. This is not the Sears from years ago before...

I called Sears repair. They came July 6.

They wrote off the diagnostic fee, supposedly they ordered the part, they were paid $308.58 as a deposit, and I would pay $172.47 at completion. The labor charge was $344+. I was told I could save $100+ on labor if I agreed to purchase a service contract, keep it for at least one year at an approximate cost of $50/month! I asked the technician if the labor charge was purposely written high so I would believe I was saving money and buy a service contract?

He could not answer that. Nine days later I inquired about the status of my repair. I was told they don't have the part, I didn't pay them any money and I owed them money! I told them I was going to report it as fraud.

I was given the option of canceling the job, which I did. I am now waiting for restitution of $308.58. They have no customer service skills. You call a number and have to push numerous buttons to even speak with somebody.

Nobody knows what they're talking about. Additionally, when I looked at my saved email receipt, the amounts all changed?!?

It showed I hadn't paid them anything yet I also had a copy of the credit card payment they received!! This is what you could be forced to deal with if you call this company.

Preferred solution: Full refund of monies paid, a written apology, and for them to agree to stop trying to make consumers believe they could save money on their inflated labor charges if they purchase service contracts.

User's recommendation: Call someone else for appliance repair.

ATT - Unable to get/make calls

Without any notification or email, I am unable to make or get phone calls on my Android. I can't call 911.

I can get text messages and search the internet but I can't get/make phone calls. When I called AT&T, I was told the speech part of my 4G phone is connected to the 3G network?!? They shut down their 3G network. I am lucky I have two phones.

However, on the other phone, I was getting emails from them on a regular basis letting me know the phone would no longer work because it was a 3G phone. So there is no excuse for not being notified that my Android was going to be affected. I don't understand how my 4G Android can't get/make calls????? I can't call 911 which I believe is an FCC violation.

I can't get any phone calls from family during a very stressful time and they don't do anything to help me except tell me to go to an AT&T store, download a software update that should fix the problem. So I went to the store and downloaded the update. But I still can't get/make calls. Now the phone is telling me there's another update!!!!!

so I have to go back to the store because I don't have Wi-Fi in my home. I think this is AT&T's way of screwing around so they can sell me another $1,000+ phone!!!!!

Republic Services - Failure to p/u trash for days

I was never contacted. After SIX days a removal truck finally showed up!

I learned the original removal truck had not been "calibrated" to handle the smaller containers even though they had been servicing the containers for several years. Over 100 customers in my senior complex were affected and undoubtedly many more in the service area.

Had Republic issued an explanation in our local newspaper, their image could have been spared. Since Republic didn't contact anyone or publish an explanation, their image has suffered in the customer service area.

For almost THREE days now my trash can and that of my across-the-street neighbor, has sat out front waiting for the garbage collection to come by and empty due to their failure to empty them on our usual trash day. We live in a senior mobile home park. Everybody around us had their trash picked up but for whatever reason ours was not picked up. I have made THREE calls to customer service at Republic and each time I've been given a different excuse. On the THIRD attempt to rectify this situation, I was told they didn't have any record of me calling the previous TWO times!! This is not acceptable. Is it because we live in a mobile home park or because we're seniors?!? Failure to pick up the garbage is hazardous. We could be cited by our park. My neighbor is handicapped. She's had to go outside and pick up trash that somehow, "fell out of the bin", probably because somebody was rummaging through it. This is not acceptable and probably would not happen in a more affluent area of town.

I just found out Republic Services did not p/u trash for about 100 seniors who live in this complex. Supposedly it was because the truck was not calibrated to p/u the small garbage cans!!!

That is a major major screw-up. Many seniors live alone and do not have much trash. We don't need the big can.

I'm hoping this isn't an ongoing problem since Republic Services provided the trash cans which they agreed to p/u. So if they agree to pick up the trash cans the trucks should be calibrated to do so.

I purchased a Maytag washer FIVE years ago and recently had to have it repaired. The transmission had leaked and oil got all over the inside of my machine and the floor. Additionally, part of the fixture had apparently been exposed to water and was stuck to the transmission. The repair tech had to use a grinder in order to remove the transmission. This caused the wash plate to be cracked and I had to replace that at a cost to me. This appears to have occurred because of faulty assembly and or substandard parts. The repair tech said the transmission leak was massive. Whether or not I had a service contract, which I didn't, it appears the product line is no longer as reliable as it once was. The photos show the damage from the leak and the deposit I had to pay so a new part could be ordered.

This company has two packages that were supposed to be delivered on Friday December 28th. When I checked with my shipper, they stated ontrac told them there were weather delays and traffic, both of which were outright lies.

The weather was fine and the traffic was no more than usual. The same exact thing happened about 3-4 weeks ago when they made the excuse they couldn't find my address because of a GPS issue.

I'm sorry to say but they have a pattern of not delivering what they're supposed to in the time they have guaranteed my shipper. These issues caused my shipper to issue a partial refund and has caused damage to my ship is reputation.

These ghouls are the worst type of maggots. They take your loved ones body parts after they die and they don't even send a thank you card to the family!!!!! They don't do anything. As a matter of fact they talk family members into doing more than the donor wanted!!! They say they aren't for profit. *** If there's no profit how are they able to pay their employees or their office rent. But they can't even send a thank you card to the family?!?!? Our loved one thought they were doing something good. We didn't even get a verbal word of gratitude.

The company delivered their largest trash and recycle bins to a senior park without ascertaining what we paying customers wanted! Then when I called them to switch sizes, I was told they cannot place my order until the new schedule began which was two weeks in the future. I put out my trash bins as directed for two weeks to switch them. It never happened. When I called and asked when they were going to switch them, I was told that my bins were already switched!!! Now I would have to wait another two weeks before they could switch them out!!! This is a senior park with many elderly, single and handicapped homes. Several email and phone requests have gone unresolved. People without limbs cannot maneuver these giant 96-gallon bins, yet the company has repeatedly ignored our requests to switch bins. Is this the way elderly and handicapped citizens should be treated?????

With my cellular phone provider I get 6GB of data per month. If I go over that I get charged $15 for an additional GB. That sounds okay, I can deal with that. However, I am sitting here right now with two hours left on my billing cycle and I just got told that I went over so they automatically added another GB of data for another $15. The problem is that this data that I pay for now, for 2 hours use, does not roll over. If I pay for it, I should get the full GB of data. It should roll over and I should get the full amount. I'm paying $15 for one extra GB of data I should be able to use it all because I'm paying for it. This goes on month after month after month and this is a ripoff. If you pay for it you should get the full amount. They will let me know when I am at 75% of the additional usage, but that's it. Sounds fair right? Well with my original 6GB, I also get a notice when I am at 90% of usage. How much money is being taken from consumers for partial service?????

When a consumer pays for a service, it is expected they will receive said service. Over Christmas, I PAID for EXPEDITED delivery of a package, correctly labeled as "perishable". It arrived 10 days AFTER the GUARANTEED date!!! I was told I could not receive even a partial refund!!! This is not acceptable & certainly not the way a business should be managed. At the very least, I should have received a partial refund.

Allstate - Auto Insurance Review

Update - seems allstate has another consumer gouging tactic. I paid my 6-month premium upfront; no need for monthly debits to occur. Well.....they give you a discount for auto-pay accounts. They told me it was for my protection just in case I forget to take action when time arrives for renewal????? Are they trying to convince me they actually care about me? Why would they actually care if there is any lapse in coverage when it is the state of Nevada who will assess a fine for non coverage??!!!?? They are just looking for a way to assure themselves of payments. There is absolutely NO NEED for any auto payment participation needed for those who pay up front & will, theoretically, not have another expense until renewal time.
